all rca and power + 5 dynamate boxes

$3500us +700 shipping + tax $4650us $4300au

to buy here i was quoter $14600us $13500au

after contacted by rep $11000us $10200au

and i know the company i brought from still made money, and so did the freight company's\

anyway onto the new build

will it work and how well?

any flaws in the tuning/port size anything

i brought the kicker qs65.2 for my last build, 399 + post, 450 at my door (from sonic)

aust shops wanted $2000au about $2160us,

so i contacted kicker direct in the us. and the aust rep rang me and i was offered them for $1250au $1350us

and they wondered why i laughed at them

this was feb last year,

when your buying 4 set thats a big difference

we can get dd here but they make sa look cheap

we only get mainstream brands

pretty much same as what sonic sell but with less options in each brand

subs will be sa8 2ohm dvc v.1 (but not sure if to upgrade to v.2)

i will be running them off a kicker zx400.1 for awhile until i get more funds together

as these subs are worth a small fortune(not for people in us)

for me to buy and ship 2 sub

v.1 $515 us

v.2 $625 us

then i must pay tax on them bring the price to around

v.1 $567 us

v.2 $687 us

so 200rms each, then will be on either zx750.1 for v.1 or zx1000.1 for v.2

if i go the v.2

ill have to run a 1" spacers around sub (witch will increase net by 0.04 each sub retaining the same net and tune as below)

or redesign a new box

only 1 thing idd change is the port

in that box idd do 4 off 2" @22" long

2x3" @26 is a bit small

it will work but wont say on long, it will cut in and out

run subs to give a final impudence of 6ohm and use a JBL GTO24001

few things to start off with

need to be min 5/8" if braced, or 3/4" no bracing

box depth is ok, but for better bass out put idd buld it atleast 8.75"

after sub displacment your box will be 0.78,

so your ports will need to 2 off 3" 41" long

and iff flared 2 off 3" 44" long

yes both 35.5 long

but if they are flared ends they need to be longer

for flared ends idd to 38" long each

secondly

what sub are you using and how much power are you driving it with

as if your under the max power idd make the box as close to the 1.5 as possible

but if you over-driving it then 0.9 is good

if the port in internal you have is right

but for external port you need to the length outside box

+ the port:cuft is way to low

for daily port:cuft should be

10-13 areo 14-16 slot

youll need to look at something like this, and yes that is the length of both ports
