IMO bung a divider in between the middle ports... loading in that box will be all freaky otherwise, although that's just my take on it...
please explain if u dont mind....im not questioning you..u know more than me..lol...just would like more detail on it so i know next time..
and yes.. .75" mdf

damn dude, Andy FTW!
thanks
but he caught me on a good night
im drinking with nothing to do...and therefore feeling generous..lol...
-
half this board is from cali....someone has got to be close to you...
-
where u at?...im sure someone would help ya out...
-
-
yea...the outer circle has a diameter of 7.25", which is how big the flare is on a 4" aero port...
inner circle has a 4" diameter though...
the outer circle just represents the mounting flare...
-
not sure...2 or 3..
-
7.52cubes net, tuned to 35hz...ports are 11" long
spacing is kinda weird on the ports cause i didnt know the depth of the sub and if it would hit the ports...so i played it safe...not my best..but it will do
-
give me a few
-
that shit at the end had me rollin...
-
Why is the fuse on top of aluminum with copper underneath? Just curious
he was just comparing his old aluminum blocks to the new copper ones...
-
i know it sounds dumb, but is ur sub output turned on on the headunit
ive done it before..thought my shit was messed up...had the sub turned off on the head unit...lol
-
is the amp on? remote wire?
-
pm chode...not a a mod

dudes...i swear this is like conversations me and my buddy have (not high..just in general..lol)
here is one we always get stuck on...the plaural of beer is?
if more than one deer is deer....more than one beer is?
u say, "look at all this beer", "i drank 6 beers last night"...
wtf? hahaha...this type of shit makes me roll...
-
bet that had u puckered up a little bit...
-
you should fuse...a lot of people dont though
i say any live run that is over 18" should be fused...
-
u fuse based on the size of wire u are using...i believe for 1/0 gague a 325 amp fuse is the biggest u go (around there)..u can always go smaller
there is a sticky in the electrical section with fuse size based on wire gauge ...look there...
-
i dont get why u are pluggin a port...all that does is bring tuning down, reduces port area, and adds displacement to the box...
if u want the most port area..use three 6" ports each 22" long and be done with it....
-
24 yrs old, college degree....some bullshit dead ass end job...
fuck that!!
-
four ports would have to be super super super long to bring tuning to 38...its not possible....im talkin over 50" long...lol
and like i said ealier:
with 3 6" ports each 22" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz
with two 6" ports each 11" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz
-
four 6" ports each 20" long will put tuning at about 46hz...with almost 20sq" of port area per cubic foot...too much imo..and too high tuning
-
first off...are these aeros or just pvc?
second off...that tunning will never happen with 4 ports..its impossible
thirdly....too many ports
with 3 6" ports each 22" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz
with two 6" ports each 11" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz
if it was me....i would use two 6" aero ports...but thats about $80

SERIOUSLY...
we can all read the bottom with the number of users...
so ENOUGH with those pointless post...
anyways...patiently waiting...
Super strong box idea

i feel like on large panels (like u mentioned) would need some sort of bracing...even its just a small piece of wood in the middle, running the length of the board....sort of like the design of an "I" beam..
