Last good NFS in my opinion was ProStreet even though most hated it. At least it had a half decent story, that was semi-original. Carbon the the original Most Wanted ROCKED.

Anyone heard from baggedbirdz in a bit? Last time I checked his profile, it said he had been active but hasn't posted anything for awhile. Dude has some killer fab skills, and a nasty sick T-bird. Also, LSN2meBoom916? That guy has some sweet fab skills too.

It's a 3 inch coil, rated at 1800w max. 1500 each unclipped is pushing it, but I'd say you would be fine at 1200 each, unclipped.

I agree with n8... when I first put my shit in my truck I had the RCA wrapped around the power and ground wires and never once had an issue. Same for my 2 channel, no alternator whine but there is a ground noise. I think it's the amp though, because it still makes that noise in other vehicles and off straight battery power.

Consoles are like factory "Premium" sound systems in new cars....they get the job done, but FUCK IT WE WANT BETTER!
I dropped nearly a grand on a upper-midrange custom build in 09-10 and the only upgrade I've made has been a few 1tb HDD's(after failure) and a used GTX 570 from a bud. Play's BF3 maxed, GTA 4 nearly maxed, Metro 2033 on all high in DX11...all while still being able to serve reliably as a family PC.

80 watts total. I have a similar boom box thing, and it can't drive a pair of Kicker KS components, 4 ohm ones, worth a damn that I put in a buddy's truck. At 4 ohms, my Punch 40x2 killed it in terms of sound level and quality.

I think you should scale this down instead of up.
Let's not forget the thread about the a/b amp that was something like 50x4 and 500x1. Don't remember the exact numbers
We learned that 4ga ofc was fine for that application because of duty cycles and because music is dynamic and the way amplifier power supplies switch instead of pulling continuously.
So, if a situation like for instance a SA 1500.1 recommends a 150 amp fuse but has 1/0 inputs. One could argue you only need around 75 to 90 amps for music.
If that is true then you could easily use 4ga of and save a lot of money.
Anyone care to test it?

I have the same reasoning for choosing to run 10 ga OFC as my primary power for the Punch 40x2 in my Silverado. It only had a fuse rating of 20 amps, and the run was only aobut 5ft, so according to KnuKonceptz chart, I was good for 30-40 amps of draw. Would the amp pull that? Don't know, so I fused it with a 30 amp inline fuse, and never let it dip below 12.8 volts. Been all good, and it'll serve the buyer well too.
