well I went down to his place in MD for a day and let him hear an Fi product (My 18" BTL). As soon as my bass note hit he smiled and said "Holy Shit!". Thats my BTL on the Hifonics Bx1605 Im giving him for his sub. He immediatly forgot about the little 15" L5 he thought was so loud and wanted an 18" BL... I dont think he has the room for 1 but yea I think i persuaded him with mine! Thanks for the help guys i showed him the thread aswell

My freind wants to get his first system going. He for some reason will not take my word for it and go with a 15" Q or BL. He is looking into a 15" L7... I have had 2 10" L7's in the past and absolutely loved them but my Fi is simply amazing. Now when he gets what ever subs he decides on after reading this thread he is going to be using my Hifonics bx1605d amp to power it. My question is which sub should he go with? (If he goes with an Fi he isnt going to get any of the options) Let me know so I can give him more than just my advice Thanks

Ok... I need an amp quickly. I wont be able to get me a sundown saz3000d since the refurbs are out of stock... I have 1 BTL and i need 2000+ RMS for around $550. I need it to have the remote bass knob and I need it to be able to be used Daily, so I'd like it not to get super hot and want to shut off...... any oppinions would be nice. I'll buy a used amp as long as its condition is good if anyone has any for sale.. let me know

yea my lights arent dimming too bad now with a shitty batt. under the hood and an OEM 105 amp alt. but i am trying to get a sundown saz3000d so its a pretty big jump. rite now i only have the hifonics bx1605d and my lights dim barely and my voltage will only drop (not much) if the ac is on and i take the volume past 20 maybe. which would be a better idea to start out with? the batt or the alt? they are relatively the same price. i cant find any bigger than a 250 amp alt for my truck. havent called excessive amperage yet tho.

Ok cool. I will get the dimensions of what i can fit under the hood and let you know. before i buy the battery should i get the HO alternator?

does it even matter what battery is in the front? I mean say i had like a yellow top in the front and like 2 kinetik 2400's in the rear with a H/O alt. is there anything that i have to make sure of or can i just do it like that? thats where im confused...

haha yea yea thats what i was concerned about aswell. size. depends maybve more. i was thinking the kinetik 2400 or the powermaster 3100 for the rear. wasnt sure if i would need more thasn one.

I want to buy a new battery for under the hood. I plan to have close to 7000 watts by the time i am finished and id like to do this right the first time. i will be adding a battery in the back too but what should i go with under the hood? I have heard good things about both kinetic and powermaster but which is better? i know this is probably been asked before but i need answers and dont have much time on the comp today. thanks!
