    It’s do-able. Check out the rp600.5. But you’d have better results running a separate mono sub amplifier and a 4 Chan for the spx components. 4 d2 woofers would wire down to .5ohm but still see close to 1ohm with box rise, as 4 d4 woofers would wire down to 1ohm but roughly 1.6-2ohm with box rise.

    I think that's enough, thanks for reply my question =).

    wait, there's something I would like to know about monoblocks amps.

    I'm between 2, the first one is the NVX JAD1200.1 (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_40252_NVX-JAD1200.1.html) because I already have a JAD800.4 and it's very small, I could put both amps under the passenger seat (have my jad800.4 in there and another of the same size will fit perfect)

    and the other amp is the Skar Audio LP-1000.1D (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_71674_SKAR-Audio-LP-1000.1D.html) which I would install at the top of my enclosure.

    I need an amp for the VVX15 I orderer at sonic, will wire @ 1 ohm with a ported enclosure.

    Thanks again! (BTW I'll have a guy here in Chile to repair the IVX at least for sell it)

    I'd suggest the Sk1500 in that case. The VVX series is underrated at 600watts rms. Good electrical and a clean signal I've seen double the power daily. Do a proper break in before going hard on it and set the gains correctly. The 1500 has about the same footprint as the 85.4.

    Enough with the bashing, everyones been given a warning in the past. I mean lets grow up. The sk4500 bench was requested by me and a number of other potential customers. I even asked for a .5ohm run. Granted I'm even saying I think there needs to be a 3 step bank for the dyno runs, 12v 14v and 16v. I'm impressed with the numbers even with the spiked voltage. The only amp that worries me is the sk3500.

    I ordered some goodies last week after work one night. Basic install tools, connectors, and my friends component speakers for her car. Got a call the next day about my order saying that her speakers were out of stock so we decided to have everything else shipped and just wait for her stuff to come back instock and be shipped out. Okay no big deal got a heads up beforehand, the awesome customer service that brings me to Sonic over and over. Well today UPS comes by and I'm expecting a tiny box only to get a larger 12-15lb box. So I'm like okay packing peanut overkill for some small items. Well I open it up, pull out the small stuff to find her two sets of Rockford P165-s in the bottom safe and sound, and apparently instock at the warehouse. Haha. Are you guys just getting into some fun with trolling us now?

    - Still a happy customer, my friends in for a surprise later, still expecting another 2 weeks before we can get her car sounding right.

    Its not full retard. Plenty of people out there are running at .5 all day and running just fine. Lol. Some people even prefer .5. Just cause you dont like it doesnt mean ut shouldnt be done.

    And for box specs, ive talked to a few skar reps when i was designing it and they say my box will be fine

    those people running .5ohm probably have heaps of box rise working to their advantage as well, which is also another indicator of a bad box design. if the amps were meant to be run at .5 ohm, then they would be rated at .5ohm instead of 1 ohm. im just trying to keep you from costing yourself some money via being hardheaded. but you are going to do what your going to do anyways, so go ahead.

    run your amp at .5ohm

    give your subs 1,000+rms each

    when your subs and your amp are dead i hope kevin has paid enough attention to know just how bad you are abusing all 3 pieces of equipment and that you are running this in a manner that voids all the warranties.

    There's team members running gear at .5 with no issues. The escalades running 6 sk2500s at .5 with out problems. Running a 1500 at .5 won't throw 1k+ per sub.
