  1. Heard about this on the radio in the shower....

I heard, he was paid 175K in TOTAL for all his work..... can you believe that!!?!?!? Fuckers face was everywhere when i was growing up.

Lunch boxes, tv (all 3 channels).....

I heard he settled out of court for some more cash........

    Anyway, RIP Coltrane.

i had the Dukes of Hazzard lunch box :D . I was heart broken when my mom melted my thermos in the dish washer on that coil thing (now known as the element lol) on the bottom.

    Night rider here..... :)

but, man, the nights spent on the bean bag, watching DOH, Chips, and others... man, time does fly.........

The amount of nostalgia in these 2 posts ^^

Damn. I had a few cool lunch boxes as a kid. The all metal ones that came with a matching thermos inside. I had Dukes of Hazzard, Star Wars, and I am not sure about a Knight Rider, I had E.T. and A-Team...... and Kyle I remember the three channels. It was 4, 9, and 13 for me. A little later we got a UHF channel too.

Sad news man, another piece of childhood gone.

    Thanks for sharing Steve

  2. What do the instructions say?

NVM I just read them from the D'Amore site and it says to use bat -

" Connect the CC-1 to an electronic crossover’s outputs by plugging an RCA from the crossover’s outputs to CC-1’s input or use the included harness to connect the CC-1 to the amplifier’s speaker outputs; Red to speaker (+) and Black to battery ground. Note: On some amplifiers the right channel’s output may actually be on the speaker (-) terminal. In this case, connect Red to speaker (-) and Black to battery ground. "

  3. Yes, speaker positive and speaker negative. Because the rca ground on a tiffany style or differential rca input is not grounded together with the amps ground like on the majority of amplifiers. So grounding to the amps ground, or even a battery ground will not complete the needed circuit to make the dd-1 or cc-1 work.

TBH, dont matter what style inputs the amp has, I just go straight for the speaker outputs to hook up the dd-1 and cc-1.

If your using a 4channel amp, sometimes you might not get signal on the left channel, so you may need to use the right channel, so that is also something to be aware of. Only a handful of amps do this from what I noticed.

But just saying it just in case you run into that issue.

This is all awesome info, crazy thing is though, the manual that came with my dd-1 says the same thing. What a concept.

  4. Hmmm... very tempting offer... I love how the VM1 works... the movement is a lot more "fluid" than the digital meter.

Question is: Can I get the dimensions of the device so I can see if I can make it work. I have a great spot to put one, but I want to make sure I can actually fit it in place first.

Go here and see product description

  5. Damn

I just got my stitches removed today

I think it hurt more than the actual cut

you went to the doctor to have them removed? i took mine off on my own and it only tickles or feels like it pulls your skin a bit from the inside

    Yes I went

I did think of taking them out myself but i guess I was to scare to do it myself. First time getting stitches.

    only one hurt

I've had over 40 staples removed and none hurt as that one.

I thought they dissolved on their own now days?

  6. First off, im only trying to help not trying to offend...

14.x isn't high enough to charge a 14v battery. If you didn't know that much, you shouldn't try to mess with anything 14V until you do alot of research as it isn't safe to do so. By research I mean search the forums, find Tony Candela's YouTube channel, he also has some books out you could learn alot from. That's a good start anyway.
