Super nice truck the only complaint I have is the steering wheel controls looks like the controls from my parents old 1987 Ford thunderbird lol
Why would you even have a complaint? Even if he bought an 87 thunderbird, it's his money so why? I dont get people like you.

I got to meet Eric and Ken the owner today (and Pepper the ninja cat) and they are some really awesome people. I got to see the full line of Second Skin products and I was surprised by the amount of products other than sound deadener that they offer. Ken talked to me a little about the Law of Diminishing Returns and how it applies to Second Skin. Now I know why this stuff isn't as thick as some of the other stuff you see out there, but is more effective in most cases.
Eric was cool enough to show me what goes in to the "B" stock packages and even though I didn't tell them this, I think the term B stock is a little misleading as to what you are actually getting. I don't know about you guys, but when I think of any B stock type of product I automatically think that it is inferior, or that there is something wrong with it. In this case, that isn't true at all. The 40lb mix box is a crazy deal and after seeing it first hand, I think they should just call it the mixed box. This is a product that we buy for what it does, not what it looks like, so I could care less if one piece in the box is out of square due to an unsellable piece being cut off, etc. since it is going to be hidden anyway.
I also got to see a new look to one of their products

Another 3 from me
Make sure you guys not only vote, but share and get your friends to vote as well.
Another link since there isn't one on this page.

And FYI, you can only vote once every 24 hrs, not once per calendar day, so voting eligibility doesn't reset at midnight. Looks like I have to wait until later to vote, but lets support our forum partner!

Voted and shared, on all 3 platforms, so 3 votes from me for today. Will repeat tomorrow.
Make sure you vote on FB, IG, and Twitter for a total of 3 votes a day guys.
Rusty, I dont run DC as of now, but I do have a used 5.0K that I have yet to hook up, so for me it isn't about jocking a certain brand but about supporting a forum partner. Good look sir/guys.
I have professional experience in grant writing as well, and would be glad to lend a hand if so needed.

That's nothing that anyone is going to be able to answer for you, at least not while providing you useful information.
The most help I can be for you is to tell you to follow the directions and start safe and reset/raise your gains using the DD-1 after you keep an eye on voltage for a while.

I am a Ford guy but I bought a DC power 270 xp because your 270 only does 140 amp at idle while DCs does 200 at idle.
Nothing against you guys. Just needed more than 140 amps at idle.
Still want one of the older Mechman T shirts..
It's not that DC is better, but you got a hairpin right?

I am here, patiently waiting on a dual alt kit for my Expedition

Second Skin FTW!!!!
Love the AZ sunset at the end of the video, and the ninja cat cameo.
Second skin is definitely going to be my next purchase for my vehicle.

Im sure steve is capable of laying down a good paint job, but having jay/paint shop next door helps tooDamn thumbs up for the mirror like finish ! i hope someday i can get paint to lay that smooth..
yessir, Jay next door does the painting for me. I am not the greatest painter and it's mostly due to impatience. I like building things that dry in 10 minutes (such as things with fiberglass/body filler in them). I also don't have a booth to properly paint things in. I do all the work of course to get up to the point of painting and then he will go over it with some seriously high build primer, maybe a slight bit of sanding in a few spots. Then from there it gets shot in a very high end booth (which happens to be next door). Not to mention, it is a top of the line body shop so he can whip up any color imaginable on the spot. When i say "Jay, you wanna shoot something for me?" he ALWAYS say's "hell ya!"....so he is who i go to
much respect to my buddy Jay next door for ALWAYS being ON IT for me! I can't wait to go see this piece dried later today
When are you going to do a build for him
Also do you have more detail pics of your big 3 i think i have the general idea but a few questions
