Big 3 Fuse Problem
Low n Loud replied to Low n Loud's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
ran the 2/0 under the carpet under the drivers seat (no way in hell i was running it along side the door sills, way to thick) then rite into the trunk where they are jus chillin for rite now. i checked to see if i punctured any wire while doing this, couldnt find anything. checked to see if somhing was gettin grounded out somewhere, couldnt find anything. what i really think happened and i cant get to it, is when i ran the 2 runs through my fire wall i might have pulled somthing. im not sure what but it is so hard to get to any wires that are under there to check if something got pulled or cut. -
theres no problem in doing that, but from my experience and others experience, and what they say to do off the website it seems to work best when u do the 2 runs. but by all means if u really dont want to do the runs then u will be fine just grounding out each separately.

Big 3 Fuse Problem
Low n Loud replied to Low n Loud's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
soon as i put the fuse in it blows when i start my car and put on the headlights which turn on my tailights as well. but they are on separate fuses -
yea i have had to do the same thing your doing a few times before (in a grand cherokee also). first you have to run 2 runs of whatever gauge wire from your + and - on your primary battery to your kinetik. (remember: + to + and - to -). then you need wire to stretch from your amp(s) to your kinetik. you should be good with ordering 50 feet of whatever size wire you need to make the 2 runs and then wire up your amp(s).

jus ordered 1 18" BTL. i finaly got to hear this ridiculous sub in person a few days ago. holy effin shit. the kid had a hifonics amp runnin about 2200rms and no electrical upgrades except a yellowtop under his hood. words cannot begin to explain how it sounded. rap/rock/jazz all sounded amazing. i hear it will take about 10 - 15 days for it be delivered. now all i have to do is order the T30001bd.

Big 3 Fuse Problem

alright the short has nothing to do wit the the big 3 upgrade. i must have pull somthing while trying to snake 2 runs of 2/0 through the car. short story short, i still cant find the f***ing short. its really pissin me off. anyone know how to find a short an easier way other than tracing a line with your finger to see if its been pulled or cut? i also tried a continuity tester and i still could not find it. -
does anyone know the exact dates for the 2007 tour of HIN? especially in new york.

like everyone would / should say, :"it all depends on the install". but nonetheless, Fi subs (any model) can suck the air outta your lungs, if you now what ur doing.

Im thinking about buying (2) 15" BL's and the RF T30001bd. It's birthsheet reads that it can put out about 3600rms. will it destroy the BL's since they are only 1000rms each or can those things handle the abuse? i would go wit the BTL's but dont have the money for those, and i hear good things about the BL's

Big 3 Fuse Problem

sry man, i went snowboarding and i forgot to look at my post b4 i left. anyways, it was a 15amp fuse under my dash that controlled my tailights and soome of my interior lights and it keeps on blowing even tho i replaced it 3 times. so now i know its a short somewhere, i just have to find it. while wiring up my car i had to have pulled a wire or somthing. im gonna keep searching untill i find it.
