More gain doesn't mean more power. It's just how fast you reach your power.
trust me in this scenario all the way is better

As some of you know i built a box for my t1 a couple of months ago..well i forgot i messed with the gain on my amp..well i went to put it in the new ride and i look at the gain..it looked all the way up but something was telling me to check anyway..turns out my gain was 1/4 when it looked all the way...man did i say every cussword, and i think i might have came up with some new ones!!!!! all the time i thought it was the box sounding not so good....damn i was pissed...still am

Absolutley no time right now. I work 6 days a week plus school. Im off June 15th. Thats also the day i can drive by myself. So the 16th i will go down and pick up some MDF.

ok but the rms is 2k you can keep it there and power two of them..how hard was that? when the rms on a solo x is 5k i would take 2 btls on 2k each then 1 solo x on 5k

yea it looked like it.The just prolly threw a port in there without calculating the correct deminsions.
either way it sounds like crap...even in front of the subs...it would only have metered a 131.6 on a tl even a crappier score

dude i pm'd dc about the 18s and he told me that they will be out in a couple of weeks due to spyder issues but they are gonna sell em for 619 but they will drop the price for us here on smd as a get their name out thing but the 18s are gonna be 249 + shipping..sorry for the tread hyjack civic.
