why dont you try the AudioQue sdc 2.5? only 150 something and about as loud as an hdc3 from what ive read.

alright just checking to see if you wasn't just talking w/o any hands on experienceyes i have had both in diffrent scenarios and tha lvl 4 is just all around louder and better built and will take alot more abuse. -

how many of you use the sound damping stuff? b/c i was thinking of adding it to my truck but i did not know if that will only make it loud on the inside of my truck?
it will make it louder on the inside....but some have said it did nothing for them....
and will this make it quiet on the outside of my truck?it could either make it not as loud on the outside.....or stop annoying rattles that on some vehicles you can hear louder than the bass....

i havent had the chance to try the sdc series but ive read where people rated them very good and worth the buy....i wish i could help you out more but ive only dealt with the hdc3 series from them....
