Yeah you're wrong. It doesn't matter as long as its not something stupid like one inch wide or something. Anything over like 2.5 even for a 15 should be fine. That box is gonna blow up though. Eventually the plywood will start to warp and seperate and then it will blow apart from the sub.

trust me i know its gonna happen eventually, damn its my first ported box but it does have its flaws but im not gonna keep the ply so would you keep off my ass a little while about the mdf..i dont know how many times i've stated im gonna get mdf!

naw its not birch its ply ima try to get up to lowes this weekend and get some mdf and do another ported box..this was my first ported so the port would most likely be "fawkt" it looks small on camera but the port is 2-3 inches wide
