Anyone know what would cause a car to start like normal then lose power and die? I realize can be TONS of things but any ideas?

Like you said, could be numerous things. Fuel filter. Fuel pump. Faulty anti theft. Cam sensor. Crank sensor. Any check engine lights? What vehicle?

Pontiac G6, not sure of the year (not my vehicle). I am sure there's no lights on of any sort except the brake light... as to which she keeps thinking has something to do with her brakes. I keep telling her that brakes will not do this to a car. I've driven with mine on (parking brake) before on accident. No problems. Then she thinks it's battery... as to which I tell her since her car starts, it's not her battery. Battery may be dead but then it's the alternator, not real...

Fuck lol. Check all the grounds in the engine bay. At the battery, on the block, on the starter. I've seen it before where the engine torque jars them loose and causes the problem. Or, sadly, take it to the dealer and get a full diagnostic check.
