Reason I don't do fb is this: I have a phone where people can text and call. Hell, even a smartphone now so e-mail included. Do I really need to see how you're feeling, so on and so forth? Just text/call/email or stfu. No?

I have found lots of people I went to elementary school with before I moved to another state on facebook. I do see your point though and likewise I don't use facebook in place of actual socialization.

I should have said elementary and middle school. I moved out of state the summer before my freshman year of high school. That was in 1993 so there was no easy way to stay in contact with people then.

I get the whole school thing Skippy but, if you didn't stay in touch, should you have? I mean, I know people from elementary and I'm glad we don't talk anymore. I know people who are still best of friends with people from elementary. And we're all in the same ages. I just see no point. I don't need to sign up for something to read about how crappy your day was or how you got dumped or this or that. Either text, call, or shoot me an email and we'll talk. Ya know? Phones...
