paint my rims
jakeryan replied to Fennygolf's topic in Wheels and Tires - The rubber hits the road here!
Put only paint it red first. Then give it 2 days to dry so the tape wont peel it off. Then tape off the red areas you want to keep and then spray 3-4 coats of black plasti dip (evenly!) in about 4 minutes. Make sure not to drip and to get even coats. Then quickly take the tape off right after you're done spraying all the black so no bonds are made to the tape. It just makes it easier and better quality in the end. Plus it completely eliminates the chance of accidentally peeling off the red. -

Or this since you want to do color layering. -

Thought this might help you out when it comes to your actual painting. -

You can buy Plasti Dip at pretty much any hardware store in the US. Just as a tip from someone who's messed up with it enough..Let it dry for a LONG time. It will dry relatively quick but give it time to actually harden. If you don't it will just peel off with any little chip or something and it'll get wrecked. -
21 inch Pyle?

Well I figured that my 50W RMS 10 inch polk audio sub hits 100.2 decibels on the norm, if i got a sub that basically would multiply the Sd of the 10 by about 4 and a half, that shit would slam regardless. Of course I would have to power it correctly or it would sound lame. My goal is to get louder bass on songs like hard in the paint or bass I love you. Because anyone can have a sub that slaps at 100Hz but I really like that feeling of a 25-40HZ soundwave being blasted in a room. The feeling is undescribable. My dad has a B52 matrix 1000 with the 15 inch driver and that rattles the house. So I feel like 1 upping his system with a slightly overpowered 21! -

As always, it depends how quality I build the enclosure and how well I power it. If all ends well I'll have a decent woofer that slams! If not....well I still have something most 15 year olds dont have. -

@xx1 Of Course. After all, size ALWAYS matters haha but I just want something over the top. And for the price, it's in that "Why not?" category in my mind. -
