  1. I consider that an accomplishment. BTW, I checked out your build thread. I am not a ford guy but your's looks pretty mean. Oh, and I know all about long builds, I have been collecting supercharger parts for over 3 years now and have managed to build all internals for it but stull haven't put the damn thing on... And now that I acquired a CT26 I am really tempted to go turbo.
  2. OMG. I loathe you you right now. I am about to sh*t a brick waiting. Out of all the mods I have done I don't think I have ever been this excited. Sounds good on the lows but with them being under powered right now I can't really say how it affects the SPL or general volume but it seems to have a steep rise between 55-58 and a less noticable drop between 65-90.
  3. Well I used the12volt's calculators and came up with a pretty nice sounding box, now I just need Skar to get my MA-8's out here and make my day. The MA80xe's suprised me since this box is a bit bigger than they needed but wired @ 4ohm getting only 75 WRMS I was able to do the tissue trick on the port and in my car they are slightly louder. I attempted to tune it to 50htz but using the ear dyno and my test cd it seems to be more in the area of 58-65htz. Still need to glass it and seal some small gaps on the ported side but I am happy with it. Now I am waiting for the appropriate subs to really hear the effect.
  4. ^^^ Nice! Wish they made one my 5 year old could wear... but she would grow out of it in a few months...
  5. Thanks for the input, I have already started building a box using my MA80XE's for testing. I am going with a 4th order with a sealed side of 1.0CF and a ported side of 1.5 with a 11.5" port. I figured I would try it and if it doesn't work I am just going to cut off the port side and run it sealed for a while. The side is going to be removable so I can access the subs at any time, I also put my bolt terminals on the removable section too with about a foot of play in the wiring. Just need to finish sealing it, finish the rewire, 'glass the inside/out and paint, then it will be done and I will know if my efforts were fruitless.
  6. Anyone? Idk if you post up "this style sounds good/gay" as long as you atleast give me a reason. I just don't want to waste this piece of wood because it is 1" thick and I havent found more than 3/4" at my local hardware store.
  7. So I have two MA-8's coming to me, I want the max spl I can achieve along with a unique setup. For now they will be running 2 ohm on a RF PBR300.1 (approx 150WRMS) although later they will be running .5 ohm on a MA Audio HK401sx (approx 1800WRMS). I have several designs I have been thinking about but this is my first box building rodeo. Ported, using the12volt.com's calculators: I would make it 27"w X 11"h X 13"d which would be around 1.6ft displacement not including port which would be 2" wide slot 10"d for 50htz tuning. 8th order would be pretty much making two ported boxes with ports firing towards the trunk and subs facing each other in the middle. 4th order for me would be 1' displacement on the sealed side and 1.5' on port side which I can fit both 4th and 8th in a 27x27x 13 space but I am not sure if 8th would have noise cancellation since the ports are quite tricky to set up... I have them drawn up in google sketchup but I don't have time to post up here. Thanks for looking and comments appreciated!
  8. OK, Give me all those pallets of MA8's along with some 4500 amps and I will give you my first born.
  9. My buddy called earlier and ordered three(two for me and one for him) while I was working earlier, he spoke to Kevin and was told they will be here by the end of the month... I am so stoked to get them. I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!
  10. You should still be able to run the wheels I listed. You could always go to Diamond Racing and have them make you a set. Any offset, any width, ect for around $400 shipped as long as you don't go crazy.
  11. 6 lug? If so check rockstar rims although I don't know if they come in 16's. You could always go with wagon wheel rock crawlers which come in 14-17" 7-12"width. Sorry I can't help more but I am running 14's on my Nissan D21(6 lug Dodge D50 5 star wheels.
  12. Are these still available? I don't have a paypal, could credit card work over the phone?
