  1. if you buy from welding supply don't buy the blue its a baby blue. that's what i have for ground. i rather of just went with black.
  2. personally www.weldingsupply.com 2 dollars a foot for black 1/0 gauge. and its flexable
  3. 15.3 is ok for your system optimas can handle on 16 volt peak. Give Mechman a PM about the alt and batteries he has hella good prices.
  4. iight i'll tell him not to buy them. thanks for the info.
  5. My friends wants to get a T10001bd and run it @ 1/2 Ohm Daily. do you think this amp can handle it. He wants to use 2x Rockford Fosgate Punch Power DVC RFR2212. will that be good or no?
  6. thats pretty good. lol because the last kid there just F@#k'ed up 3 cars.
  7. thats true. And yea if i apply somewhere else for the same job, i can say i had the experience.
  8. i would go with the Hifonics b2608 best bang for the buck IMO.
  9. wow scratch what i said about stinger. Stinger does not make the HC series batteries, Kinetik does. if you can go with at HC1400 up front or a Optima red top and put the HC 2400 in the back you should be fine, with power. http://www.kinetikaudio.com/powercells.asp edit .. do not go by those prices there much cheaper on the web.
  10. well if the judges let you practice. before i guess thats not that bad.
  11. But what batteries do you have now? If you have the hc 2400 you should be ok just add a stinger hc 900 up front. I thnk it is a 900.
  12. thats the thing your looking for cold cranking amp, and your also looking for Ah Amp Hour. what kinda stinger do you have?
  13. this bass racing sounds so much fun. a lot better then dBDrag IMO but the more i read this thread the more it sounds like you need to own a TL to practice a lot.
  14. ^^ thats what i would do. as long as you got a non stock alt you should be ok with the 2 batts under the hood and i f you do get one in the back its only a plus because you never can have to much batteries.
  15. i bought all my fuses off of ebay a 2 pack of audio pipe fuses is only 5bucks and you dont need the best fuse holders. i bought 1 streetwires fuse hold for 30 bucks and i was like WHY when i could get a fuse holder from ebay for 10 buks.
  16. do you have a stock alt? and my friend has a saz.3000. it's a energy HOG he also has a XS powermaster D3100 in the rear and at 1/2 tilt his alt is going fast. honestly NO i wouldn't do it.
  17. iight cool now i know what to ask. thanks for all the feedback. kian
  18. for the fuses its 16 inches from the terminals in the front and in the rear. Also put a fuse after the distro to the AMP Sundown. and you should be fine
  19. no i dont have any professional experience. thats why i guess i will say around 10- 11 buks an hour. I would be pissed after i get hired and then they shut down.
  20. so do you think i f i ask 3-4 bucks more then minimum wage it will be alright?
  21. I got a phone call about 2 hours ago saying that Circuit City wants a interview me on installing systems. because they just fired a kid who messed up 3 cars. to get to the bottom line is, if they ask me what do i want my hourly pay to be i have no idea any suggestions? on the Hourly wage for system installs? is it minimum?
  22. believe me i like sundown a lot. But don't you think that will push those subs a little to hard. And if you go sundown they will require a beefier electrical system. Personally if i had the choice i'd go sundown because i know i have the electrical to run that amp @ 1/2 Ohm.
  23. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_c...ns.asp~Q~2~I~22 theirs your wiring diagram. For the amp http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-2008-KICKER-ZX2500...1QQcmdZViewItem
  24. yea i would go with the 2500.1 if you have the dual 2 ohm sub woofers because it is 2 ohm stable and the sundown is 3000 watts @ 1 Ohm its not recommended at 1/2 Ohm.
  25. first are they 2-Ohm or 4-Ohm dual voice coil?
