    Well first off you listed gain at 43 volts! Really? I wish I had 43 volts to play with! Lol. But I think you need a voltage meter. You could be dipping below what your amp reguires for voltage.

    I have a sundown e12 d4 and have it at 2ohms on a mtx 81000d since march at about 1200rms. I did dd1 it and don't go full bore all the time but it is holding up great.

    You don't. Adjust fmods. They are inline crossover that mount between the amp and rca wires. For subsonics they only come in 20 hrz and 30 hrz.

    Yup. So I am just going to get a couple 30hrz high pass fmods and see how they do. They only have a 12db cut off so I should be able to dip down to 28hrz or so so I guess I will just have to wait and see. I will be ordering them from prts express on fri. Should have them by tue or wensday and I will let you guys know how they work.

    And that's something else I don't understand is why jacob(owner of sundown audio and a great guy) still puts bass boost on his amps. I'm stumped.

    Hay guys what I'm try to figure out is when you dd-1 you are suposed to have you you bass,trebal and mids on headunit flatt at zero and bass boost on amps set zero. Then why does it seem every amp has a bass boost feature and all head units have adjustable bass and treable????.

    Does anybody make a veriable subsonic filter other than the fmods? I hate not having one on my amp but its been a good amp.

    So 30hrz should be fine then. I don't have a filter on my amp so I have tou use those fmods. They only have a 20hrz or 30hrz cut off so I think I will be safer doing the 30hrz ones.

    If I tune my box to 32hrz should I set my subsonic filter to 30hrz

    Hay thanks joe, sorry to be a nage. This is the first box I am going to build on my own. I got a couple boxes from some shops in my area and they were pretty shotty so I will try my own hand at it. I want to try this one before I take on the sa-15 box you designed for me. Also are t-nuts or hurricane nuts any good to use so I can switch boxes with different tunnings at will without stripping out screw holes? Thnx again bro!

    Hay joe x I sketched that box out and did some researche and the port still loooks to narrow to me. Its only like a inche and a half wide. Port noise for sure. I was thinking at least 2 1/2 " at least if not 3". Any input woould be great.

    Thanks a million man. I know its a lot of power but I keep my gain very coservitive. I still need to get a couple of those f-mod filters but I wish they came in 25hrz insted of just 20hrz&30hrz. Thnx a lot bro

    Mtx 81000d and the sundown is 400 watts rms but extreamly underrated. Its handled this amp since march but I want a smaller box to help it a bit.and the amp puts out around 1200-1300 at 2ohms.

    Ok I have a sundown e12 dual 4ohm in a 2cub after port and sub at 35hrz on a 81000d at 2ohms. I would like a cut sheet for sub back port back at 32hrz in a size to help better handle the power. Trunk mesurments to work with are 17.5"h x 38.5"w x 39.5"d. Any help would be great. Thnx
