Makes me miss mineAnd my little drum set. Sooner or later when I have a real career I'm going to have to build a band room for my house.
You can tell mine haven't been played in a very long time. I would like that to change, but I've got higher priorities in my life right now.

I was classically trained on the piano for a very long time, but after being forced into it and never finding a reason to like it myself I quit. I've finally came back to it after 6 years of ignoring it completely.
I have forgotten everything except technical skills and the C and D major scales. Over the break I learned how to play a song, but was having difficulty with precision hitting and have decided I'll go back and learn all my scales and arpeggios. Hell I even had two right in the names of every note for the 7 pages of that song.

So while I was back home on break I got to play on my grandmother's semi-concert grand piano. I showed up and it was as I expected; a vintage ornament.
The next day I took down all that extra stuff that rattles and opened it up.
Brian, I'm sorry, but there isn't a video I will post as I didn't want to go through the effort of finding a microphone that didn't get just completely distorted by the piano.
For those that care this is a Bösendorfer 225 semi-concert grand from 1882. It is a beauty to play, except the tuning board doesn't like to cooperate very nicely after 133 years.

went out to a wellsite today to check a ESP pump with my buddy, and there was a ton of cats. And the land owner looked just like bubbles, holy fuck. Was so far inbred, he came from Arkansas probably.

My old boss gave me his piano so I've decided to pick it back up again after that decade of being made to play it, I actually want to play it myself now. (Stockholm syndrome or something, I guess).
Decided to pick this song to start out with.
