Jacob, so am I reading right that the mechanical limit (peak to peak) for the x series is 50mm? Just wondered b/c I saw that the vid of the 12" z says it has a peak to peak of 4" which would be close to 100mm. Just curious about the similarity in terms of excursion between the two lines. thanks, Kyle

If you google "SUNDOWN X18 PROTOTYPE CRAIGSLIST" the second search result that pops up is an add on craiglist for the original x18 prototype they are asking $950 firm and name Jacob several times. Everyone knows craigslist is the king of scams so I was winder what everyone thought........ maybe someone from Sundown can shed some light on it.

I was reading through the thread and didnt see it but what are the official. X-max #'s for the x line? Also I was wondering if there are any plans for costom Coil configuration like .7 ohms and 1.4 ohms

If you look back on page 3, Jacob from SUNDOWN posted a pic and there are 3 subwoofers next to each other 1 says ZV.3 stock and the other says ZV.3 H-X.I didn't realize that was a prototype is well. I was thinking the proto was the 3rd sub with new motor, basket and surround....... sry ide post the pic if i could but i dont know how lol.

Cant wait for the specs to come in on these the only thing i am wondering is what the changes will amount to when it comes to rec. Box size...... the only thing ive seen comparable to these are re xxx and the rec. ported is 9 cubes. Either way im getting my hands on a pair, I just hope to avoid an 18 cube box for 2 subs lol
