Yesterday I went and looked at the blocks and some how one pop out of place and was moving around so I took it all apart and ended up with a set of bent and broke aluminum blocks. So I went and got a set of steel blocks and put them in and everything lined up. The only other question I have Is how tight should the u bolts be.

I installed 3 inch aluminum lowering blocks on a 2 door 97 gmc jimmy. And afterwards it was riding croocked why is that. any help would be great.

I know its going to take some time but I need a place to start. I need to know if I should use the specs from jl if not then were do I get them or is their a common size to use with 12 if so, what is it.

So ur saying that I should go smaller than what jl specs for the subs. and if so give me an idea of how much smaller. And should I go with L shaped ports. Or should I add the totoal port area together and just make a rectangle or square port like steve For all for subs and should they have chambers or no.

Well wher can I go to get help with a box. The box that is in their is specd to the subs is thst not the way I need to go. And when I do change it out. And when I do build one right for the subs will it be noticable loud wis or will it read different on the mic. Another thing is I heard that you can build a box that will read on the mic but is not loud. Whats up with that.

Also if I were to chose to go with different subs would 1 directed 1500d be able to power a 15 fi bl. the reasone I wana go with a 15 is cause the biger the sub the more air it moves or atleast that is what I was told and that the 15 will get lower.

well if I go with the same subs I am going to have a problem walling it off or is that the way I should go. and as far as overpowering them I am runing 2 w6s to 1 amp which is at 1ohm. And they do just fine. What should I expect from andding an amp and 2 more subs. score wise.

I can not decide on wich way to go. Currently I am running 4 jl12w6v2 with 2 directed 1500d. And recently competed for the first time and ended up with a 147.5 legal. I automaticlly got hooked. now I want to do something different. I want to get a higher score. I curently just bought another 1500d. So I have 3 1500ds total.

Their is a local crank em up contest that I want to compete in because i have never been. But someone told me that they rig the mic. What does that mean? And I need to know what class I would be in. And is it worth my time if its true. Reason for the questions is because I just turned 18 and I only know a few things about competing.

I cutt the springs on a blazer and it was the worst ride ever. I would never do it again. just save your time and money and just wait and do it right.
