It wasn't pushed past xmax or bottomed out. I wasn't throwing a ton of power at it or playing much below tuning. It was on a AQ 3500 but wasn't getting anything close to 3500. I was running just the one until I could build the new box for both of them. The suspension didn't last too long either, it seemed to get pretty soft way to fast. I chalked it up as getting a dud. It happens. My hdc3 took it fine and the hcca took it fine and both of them were ran in the same box on the same music for the most part so I'm sure it wasn't my music or the box. I actually called and asked if you guys were having any issues like this since it lasted less than a month and the guy I spoke to said no. He blamed it on my box but after I told him the specs and everything he said it should work great in my box and handle close to 5k. I have heard from a few people that said they have seen a few people have issues also. They said something about a glue change or something that was not working as well as the old glue.

I had one of my xls 's make a rattle like that for a few days on just a few specific songs. It ended up being the triple joint failed. Dam glue kinda shattered and the cone broke free. I also noticed the bottom few inches of the cone around the triple joint was really soft compared to the rest of the cone.

For those of you guys with the yellow tops, did you notice a big difference when you switched to the xs power?

I bought a crescendo bc2000 from zac. Good deal. The amp was exactly as described. No scratches and works great. I was in a rush to get it taken care of because it was my only day off that week and he shipped it the same day. Paypal screwed the money part all up for some reason. They refunded me my money later that night for some reason and made it a huge pain in the ass. It took a bunch of phone calls and a week to get zac paid but he was pretty cool about it and understood they screwed up. Good guy to deal with and I would buy from him again.
