  1. Small update.

Swapped my old sp4 for a new one I got. The new one is d2 so I can run it at 1 ohm instead of 2 like the other one was at. Also swapped out a stinger volt meter for a SMD VM-1, and man this thing is so much better. I never saw a reason to spend that much on a volt meter, but I can definitely understand now. It is so responsive it is unbelievable.

Sold a couple things I had laying around and 1 battery, and almost have enough money for an alt. Was thinking about trying to find a deal on a used one, but I'm leaning toward a new 240a mechman. That should be plenty for me.

And after a lot of consideration, I'm leaning towards a c-pillar wall with 2 sp4 15's tuned around 30hz. I think the easiest way would be to make a solid platform over the wheel wells and put the box on top of that, seal around it, and put trim pieces around it to make it look pretty, and have batteries and amps in the back. My goal is 150, but I'm not chasing numbers. I want it mainly for daily listening and a good demo vehicle on music. Think it's possible? Will be 2 sp4 15's on a SQ 3500.1 at half ohm.

Got a short video of how it's currently set up. Not the best vid because I needed to record with my phone, so I had to use a cd for music and all I had was some old dubstep, but it will do for now. Now all I need is some deadener, and a new alt and I'll be good to go!

  2. I believe so. This is what it says in the rules on page 1.

"Entry period for the giveaway will begin on November 19th, 2015 and end on November 27th, 2015!!! After this time period we will verify all entries to make sure they completed all 3 steps properly and then enter all the names into a bucket and randomly select a winner."

Good luck to all! And thank you Second Skin!

  3. And I got a Soundqubed 4-90 the other day from a friend as payment for an install I did for him. Only a few months old and has the etched sound Qubed logo so it matches my 3500 perfectly. Saves me 200 on Black Friday!

So the list of what I will be looking at this Black Friday is:

-10 sheet pack of Q-mat or second skin deadener

-a bunch of misc sky high products to clean everything up

    -possibly some components

And if I come across any good deals on an alternator I may jump on that, trying to find a good used one to save some cash.

Next thing I want to do is make a spot for my volt meters to go by my cup holders. Should be making some good progress in the upcoming weeks!

  4. Thank you! I am very happy with them. Going to order the bulbs for the light by the passenger feet and by the hatch. The white light just looks so much cleaner than the dim yellow light. Thinking about changing my gauge lights to led's too. I really like the newer look to has with leds.

New headlight and taillights are next on the list. I just bought the taillights below because the stock ones are very old and dull. and still debating which headlights I want to get.

  5. These are the bulbs I got for the map lights (circle lights you click on or off)

This is what I got for the main dome light.

Just pop them in and it's done! Much happier with the led lights. I'll take a pic once it gets dark

The only thing with the map lights, the bulb is a little bigger than the stock one so I had to push the metal reflector cup in the light housing in further to get the bulb to reach the socket. But not hard to do at all! Only cost me like $20
