I think there's multiple thinga wrong with it. One general rule is you get what you pay for, but for someone who has never bought a amp and see's a amp box that reads 5000w Max they might buy it because they think there getting a good deal on it. But another person who see's the same box who has more knowledge in the area will say that amps a piece of shit.
The other thing is how efficient are these budget amps? How clean is the sound. i use to buy hifonics amps, they seemed okay for the price, but pulled alot of power & dont sound that clean. & i always bought for over the the RMS that i needed because we know they dont do rated (Thanks to Steve)
I honestly think someone needs to create an archive & Amp Dyno as many amps as they can old & new. Someone needs to call these manufactuers out on there BS.

Those twin turbo's im sure help keep the MPG's up in the mountains vs a V8

So I had ordered an I-Bar kit for my XS D2700, just to find out it doesn't fit lol.
Anyone have any ideas of what could work as a side post adapters? I know stinger and kinnetik make some but I'm not sure how much different the battery sizes are between brands.
Or any other ideas?

I'd be interested like many here if i had the cash to buy them. Renting seems like a nice idea, i just see way to many loopholes with this to work. At the end of the day if someone has no intention on returning the device('s) they will be able to get away with that, you most likely will not be able to think of everything even though i hope you do. I know your doing this to the the devices into more hands for people to use them it just seems like from a business point of view to be careful.
Maybe require a picture of state ID, The credit card, & a signed copy of the paper to be included with payment. This is only for your piece of mind, to cover you from back charges etc, of people who try to rent them and cancel the credit card on you.

:X I swear i watched that video 2x's and didn't see all that or maybe i was looking harder now But thanks got everything i needed
When are you going to do a build for him
Im sure steve is capable of laying down a good paint job, but having jay/paint shop next door helps tooDamn thumbs up for the mirror like finish ! i hope someday i can get paint to lay that smooth..
yessir, Jay next door does the painting for me. I am not the greatest painter and it's mostly due to impatience. I like building things that dry in 10 minutes (such as things with fiberglass/body filler in them). I also don't have a booth to properly paint things in. I do all the work of course to get up to the point of painting and then he will go over it with some seriously high build primer, maybe a slight bit of sanding in a few spots. Then from there it gets shot in a very high end booth (which happens to be next door). Not to mention, it is a top of the line body shop so he can whip up any color imaginable on the spot. When i say "Jay, you wanna shoot something for me?" he ALWAYS say's "hell ya!"....so he is who i go to
much respect to my buddy Jay next door for ALWAYS being ON IT for me! I can't wait to go see this piece dried later today
Also do you have more detail pics of your big 3 i think i have the general idea but a few questions

Getting a better box is going to make a huge improvement. You can put $500 subs in that box and they will still not sound right
-
^ I find that bass sounds better in car trucks then it does in trucks under the seats. More the likely you would get that better & deeper sound you want if you put them in a box on the seat, or made a box that fired the subs forward towards you. To me subs downfiring dont seem to sound good.
-
i think theyre already out
Yeah found them under the x series. Quick question by the way, if i get one of these and put it on midbass duty, having subs aswell should be fine correct?
-
Has anyone used these as midbass, with subs? Also can you wire them to 2 ohm?
-
-
whats the mounting depth on one of these??
-
Mother Nature makes it rain 2 Days after i wash my truck, for the past 3 times THIS MONTH.
FUCK THAT.
DURING summer in California. Like why is it even raining? It was 98 yesterday..
-
How much room do you have for your box? I'd say get a ported box that is at least 1ft^3. If you can't fit that just stick with a small sealed box with a .5ft of volume.
-
You are aware you can get this information off sun downs website right?
-
Sounds like he's talking about the added on 0AWG.. the Factory wiring is still connected correct..?
