alright ill talk to him and see what he thinks. i know he kinda leanin toward the ssd's cuase of the money but if the q's will be better i can convince him to drop the extra cash for those. so do you think that a t3001bd would push 4 q's good enough then or would i need more power. i heard they bench from like 3300-3700 rms

no im pretty sure he doesnt wanna compete. maybe bassrace a couple times but i highly doubt it. just wants to be "loud as hell". he friends with the kid that i just did the 4 15" ssd install for he said he wants it louder than that i told him the 18's would be louder, now he keeps asking me if the bl's are gonna make a huge differece. i really dont know so im just trying to figure it out. and from what i heard the q's will sound better but they are quieter than the bl's

so your saying if were gonna stick with 4000 rms it would be better to go with the ssd's with options vs the "stock" bl's?

what year camaro is this going to be in...... if you have a 93+ you could fit 8 12's. you have to make 2 seperate boxes cuase of the drive shaft hump in the middle of the back seat and you have to take the seats and center console and t tops out to get em in but it is possible that was my old set up in my 94. i would personally probably go with 4 15's though

like a difference in sound quality, i know the bl is probably louder, or something is better........i mean i know there some reason for it being more expensive but i just dont know what? so lets say i ran 4 18" ssd, and 4 bls in the same box, same power, and same tunning, would there be huge increase in spl from the bls? if so how many db's difference..... 1,2 dbs????

bout to start a build and i need some recomendations for amps. looking to spend around 800. need to get about 3500-4000rms. i dont care if its one amp, two, or four. so far i found a RF T3001bd on high desert audio for 800 but lookin for other options

nice build bro came out awesome. the cheapest way to cut down on rattle like already stated is probably expanding foam and ruberized underspray. expanding spray foam cost about 5 bucks a can from home depot (im sure you can get it else where maybe cheaper i just always go there) and you can get the ruberized underspray from walmart for $3-$6 depending on which one yo get im pretty sure he has the remote for the sub amp running of that switch. ive done quite a few installs like this cuase the customer wanted the option of turning the bass on and off but the deck didnt have a built in switch.

the only reason i have my doubts about that amp is because i cant find rms specs fuse sizes anywhere, also i have had no personal experiecne with them and have only heard bad things from a couple of people who bought em. no saying they are bad i just cant find any info on it and i know the power acoustiks hold up fairly well.

honestly i really dont know if they stopped or got caught or anything. me and my girl got the call while we were in a movie and ignored it thinkin in was no big deal. when we got out and called back and found out what happened i freaked jump in the camaro and flew down to the hospital. ended up getting there too late. after that everyone sorta made there way back to where it happend and everyone just kinda stood there in shock no one really talked about anything.

thanks for the support guys. ya normally the system would probably decrease the value. but a couple of the guys he was friends with are pretty wealthy and they said the more we can do to it the more they would be willing to pay for the car. they are already willing to drop way more than the car is worth to help his family but i figue every dollar will help. but like stated this is mainly for him. the guy thats most likely gonna buy this is planning on turning into a show car in tribute to him

Last night my good friend TJ Johnson (Koolaid King) was killed riding his bike. much is not known about how it happened yet cause my freind josh who was riding with him is still to shaken up to talk about it. all thats known right now is that there was another accident when they approched this he got cutoff by another car and had to swere, he clipped the back of another car and flew about 250ft. they were able to revive him and get him to the hospital were he died about an hour later surrounded by family and friends. Ull never be forgotten Koolaid King, 1986-2007. im sure some of you might remember this build i did for him a little bit ago. Im trying to get my hands on the car so me and a couple of guys can finish his dream build of a wall with 12 12's. were hoping this will also increase the value of the car so it can be auctioned off to help his family pay for his funeral. any ideas for the build or anything not to major that could be done to the car to improve it would greatly be appriciated.

ya i was probably gonna try and sell it for 700-800 and see if i could sell it and if not just keep it. cause i know the local shop still has a couple of these left brand new that they are selling for $1200 so i figured i would tell who ever buys it that i will also install it for free.

im thinking about selling my pioneer avic-n1 locally to get a newer pioneer unit. its in really good condition no scratches anywhere. the only thing that is wrong with it is that the pwr button doesnt light up. i dont have the original box but i have all the parts and the manual. how much you guys think i could get for something like this

exactly idk i havent seen to many luxury cars that use acrylic in the setups that look cheesy at least not around my part of town. most of the stuff the acrylic that looks cheesy or ricer looking is preety much seen in the ricers.
