  1. Buy this glue weldwood and buy this gun harbor freight, unless you have another paint gun that you're not too worried about, and run the glue through that gun at around 45-60 psi spraying right onto the existing headliner. Cover with the suede after paying attention to the instructions on the glue and cut holes for lights, visors, etc. in the star pattern and also making sure to leave enough overlap on the edges for the fabric to wrap around onto the backside and glue that too. since it was cold where I live when I did this I brought it in the house and let it setup for 72 hours like recommended with the suede facing up before I reinstalled

thanks man of course i waited to do this now when its cold out and i dont have a basement to do it in. really the only reason i took it down was to fix some nasty rattles on the roof, and my moon roof wasnt working so i said fuck it if im going to take it down now is good time to do it and i can also dampen the roof while im at it.

  2. Unless it's for competition only use, or occasional heavy use go with 2 *stock* alternators.... I tell people the same thing all the time, there isn't one alternator currently available for automotive use that will outperform 2 145 stock alternators in a dual alternator system.... We do a lot of dual 190/160 amp *stock* setups on the GM's and that setup will do 260-270 amps at idle.... There is NO comparision when choosing single alt versus dual alts, duals win in every way.... Rob

do you have any pics of those dual stock setups and if so do you sell the dual brackets? also if you could give a parts list of the alts you use. i have a 2001 tahoe with a 5.3. thanks

  3. ok im making a box for 4 hifonics 12 squares. im going to put 2 in their own camber. now the port they call for is 12.5x4x24. so my question is do i just double the port area making it 12.5x8? will this work or not. they need 3.5cu ft each if that helps.

  4. Just grounds to the front. Electricity takes the path of least resistance, meaning that it's going to use the runs of wire before the chassis because copper is less resistant than your chassis.

now i always thought you ground to the chassis other wise you pick up ground noise. i did that along time ago and when i ran the ground wire to the back i got hella noise and when i took it out it was quiet again. but then again if thats what yall recommend than im with ya. also when you run the power wire from the alt do you ground at the alts aslo. in other words i run my power wire from the alt not my battery
