listen to ray. change the ground. also add a fan. i had an audiobahn a2300hcx a few years ago. it would get hotter than hell! i added a 25$ fan from radio shack blowing air onto it and it stopped. it sounds good to say toss it and get a real amp but i know its not that easy. i still have the fan sitting here if you want it cover shipping and you can have it. pm me if interested
