gah i cant find what im talking about but im sure yall have seen it where a person cuts the box behind the magnet of the subwoofer and then fiberglasses a "bubble" for added space for pole vent. but the more i think about the more that just sounds difficult <ive never used fiberglass before> and an added cost lol. my buddy has 2 jl w3 12s under his back seat as long as i can shut his ass up with the sd12s ill be happy cause im sooo tired of all this jl nut hugging he does lol. Am i correct to assume the sd12s can handle more than the 500 rms they are rated for? cuz the rockford fosgate r1200-1d does 1200 at 1 ohm and is known to do more than rated and i already ordered it <too good a deal to pass up> but havent received it yet so i dont have the birth sheet in hand... by the way thanks for the help in this guys more help here than ive got on other forums by far already.

I was thinking i could fit the SA 12s if i cut holes in the box and did the fiberglass "bubble" over the woofer vent cause i only have 7.5" of outside box height so after i subtract for wood im really at 6" of internal space. But if the SD 12s will sound just as good, according to win isd they aren't much less than the SA 12s if i modled them correctly that is lol. they also save me some cash to put towards other things so i thing unless i find something better ill go with 2 sd12 D4 wired to 1ohm.

Wondering if anyone has used these in their f150? I'm thinking 2 running 1ohms @1200 on a Rockford Fosgate R1200-1D i know these amps are underated so im expecting more but lets just say 1200rms in a 2.325^ft sealed box under my back seat < i have the lmi lift> thoughts? suggestions? would they even work in that size or smaller sealed box? that is biggest possible box i can fit. thanks.
