yea ik that i had 2 12" type R's but they werent loud enough for me so i wanna step the game up a bit...i got the ideas above but im not the type of person who wants just one brand. Fi is awsome but i wouldnt mind rockford or anything else thats decently loud and not gonna break the bank.

i gtg to my autobody class right now ill return in about 2 hours so if anyone has ideas about this topic plz leave them here for when i return.

Ok, well my senior year is almost over...and my parents have decided to give me their old car for a grad gift. its a 2000 oldsmobile intrigue 3.5liter v6 with 215 hp. its got 105k on it and 17inch konig rims. But... I got a job and wanna save some money for a system for it. so what should i get? i was thinking about a 18" Fi Q but idk. any ideas? want something thats gonna be loud but not too much money either. so whats the best bang for my buck? i can spend about 550-650

Ok well ill be honest cuz no one likes to get screwed. the car has around 150k miles or a lil more on it its a 1995 dodge intrepid and i just dont have the time for it no more. Needs: engine work the motor knocks. ( not too baddly tho ) new tires shortly Everything else on the car is good. i WILL sell parts off it if needed or the car as a whole its up to u. No one prolly wants it but ive been without a car sense november and its getting old so i need some cash for a new one ( probably a SUV) thanks for looking Justin.

thanks man...so basically i unbolt the motor bolts and unhook the wiring and what not and it should come right out?

i have a 95 dodge intrepid 3.3liter. well we forgot to change the oil and now theres a engine knock in the lower part of the motor. i was going to buy a new motor and put it in to see if i can sell the car. then i was told i HAVE to take the k-frame out to take out the motor. is it possible to take it out without dropping the k-frame. ive been told yes and no. so idk what to believe. need some help here. oh and if i can do it without dropping the k-frame could someone tell me where i can get a 3.3 for cheap?

ok, so my 95 intrepid crapped out on me. the engine threw a rod or a bearing in the block. its a 3.3 and the cars in good condition. but i wanna know would it be worth pulling the motor fixing that problem and maybe putting a bigger cam changing the gears and some bigger pistons or should i just sell it to get a 4 banger ( need the gas efficiency lol )? let me know what u think.

the only problem is i dont have a program that will let me have the box smaller height in the back and bigger in the front with a slopped baffle. the baffles gonna be about a 20-30 degree angle and then the top has to slope down from 19" in the front to 16" in the rear. so im not sure what to cut the peices to....im a lil confused. havent had to make a ob-long box b4. and i dont have a program that lets me know what size to cut the peices to...so im a little confused lol. sorry for being kinda noobish bout this but i havent had to make a box this big b4.

yea that helps...but the max height i can have is 19" on the front panel and 16" in the back so the box will slope from front to back. will that hurt anything tho or not?

sorry for not being able to reply quickly. but the sub is a Fi SSD 18" its gonna be run off a 1000 watt power acoustik amp at 1 ohm (1000watts RMS). those are the MAX demensions of the trunk and its going to be for daily use. i want it tuned low. prolly around 32-35 hrtz and the front face plate that the sub is going to be mounted to has to be angled so it fits. thanks for the help whoever helps me.
