You can say not everyone in any profession deserves to be there. But do not judge the whole based on the actions of a few. The only reason we are talking about this is because the news media loves to cover the "bad" that LEO's do much more frequently than the good.
They used to teach "The Force Continuum" in the police academy but they don't anymore. That used to state you could only meet your threat with one degree above what you are being met with. Fuck that, with the way tides can change and the fact that threats can have multiple types and numbers of weapons on them means that now you are forced to do whatever you deem is necessary to neutralize the threat for the good of public and officer safety.
The sure way to avoid an issue is to COMPLY! If you feel you are being wronged SUE CIVALY AFTER YOU COMPLY. This is the only surefire way to survive

I agree 100% any time I have an encounter with law enforcement I comply even if they are in the wrong because I have nothing to hide and no criminal record. I have encountered some officers that were pure assholes but majority I have met have been very pleasant to deal with I've found that you usually get back what you give so if you just comply and don't scream and yell and act like a damn idiot you can usalky defuse the situation get your ticket or get nothing but a warning and you get to go on with your day and life. Fact of the matter is it's usually criminals that complain about how police treat them if you're a criminal out doing criminal things you deserve to be treated like a CRIMINAL!

Stealing $5 worth of swishers is not a justified reason to be shot and killed. Plus the officer wasn't even looking for him in connection with that robbery. The police are trigger happy nowadays and it is pretty much a given they target young black males from the hood. After this incident a white kid in Utah was shot and killed by a black cop, he had a rap sheet but was unarmed and did nothing to even cause the cop to stop him. America is being taken over by the gang in Navy Blue that wear a shield to protect them from any wrong they may do.
If you are in an all black neighborhood who else is going to get stopped by the police except black people? The white people who don't exist. Guess what I'm white and I live in a predominantly white neighborhood and most of the people i see get stopped (and i see a lot because I live right down the street from the sheriff) are white. Fact of the matter is whoever is the majority of the neighborhood is going to be getting stopped by the police. difference is white people can't cry racism so you don't hear about it. No I'm not saying racism doesn't exist because it without a doubt does. Oh just so you know I've been stopped for being white in the wrong neighborhood by a black officer and the reason I was stopped were those words exactly and guess what I didn't make one peep about racist anything. I've also had guns drawn on me three times by white officers for no legitimate reason I just complied and didn't fight or argue with them when they were down with there supposed job I went on with my day and never complained about it. I was also surrounded by by 10 officers and treated like a piece of dirt and talked to like a I as the scum of the earth for lighting off a bottle rocket in the middle of the day and one of the neighbors calling the cops about it because it landed in his yard didn't complain about that either just kept my cool and gave them no reason to arrest me. So don't assume it is only black people who get treated poorly by the police because it's not they treat everyone poorly. They think you're in the wrong or you will get treated like shit regardless of the color of your skin. The best thing you can do is just keep out of trouble and know your rights which is thing more Americans need to learn.

that's mildly disputed. The shots are on the inside of his right arm. And if you view the autopsy, do you run at a cop like that with your palms out? Is the inside of your arms exposed when you run?So the family's paid autopsy is showing all shots came from the front . the cop has a broken eye socket and this is still a discussion?
I guess we could discuss whether deadly force was needed, but if he did go for the cops gun and there was a witness then this is pretty simple to figure out.
I just wonder what the FBI investigation will show?
The only way he could've been shot on his inner arms or thumb the way he was is if he was doing either 1 of 2 things. Running AWAY from the cop, or turned facing the cop with his hands up
When you run do you keep your arms flat against your body or do you move them in a back and forth motion exposing your inner arm multiple times while doing so?

They will take my guns from my cold dead hands I promise you that. I'm sure most others here feel the same way about that. Besides if they did get rid of the second amendment what are they going to do go door to door and say give me your guns I'd like to see how that one would go for them. While I do think many citizens are push overs when it comes to standing up for their rights when the government came knocking on the door I don't think the vast majority of Americans would just roll over and take it.

Well we may disagree their slightly, in my opinion, it's much harder working that 9-5 job for a small paycheck,insurance, house payments, utilities and worrying about various other bills, feeding and clothing the kids and such. Plus have to protect and worry about someone taking your shit. Not that easy when you think about it. Majority of hard working americans make just enough to get buy on.I don't think it's harder living the righteous life. Actually it's easier. I don't worry about being robbed jumped or shot. I get GUARANTEED money every 15th and 30th, my kids are hella suburban and don't know shit about missing meals. Yep, living right is way easier bro.
You should know if your a parent, trying to make your kids understand the right way of living. When they see thugs and guys youll ever criminals not working, selling drugs and such, with a boat load of cash. new cars, gold dripping of there chains etc.
I regret to inform you that the majority of drug dealers in bad neighboorhoods are not living the life of luxury my friend. It's the ones you don't hear about living in middle class neighborhoods that are your friends and neighbors that move major weight and you never even had a clue they did it till you see them in the news. Girlfriends uncle worked with a guy doing maintenance and a high end apartment complex making $20 an hour always had bad ass cars owned a bunch of houses always said he just invested his money right to get so wealthy off a $20 an hour job well turned out yeah he invested in running a major dope operation he was moving 200lbs of weed every couple weeks. trust me this guy was no thug and you would never suspect he was the type for it dorky as can be and one of the nicest guys you would ever meet would give you the shirt off his back we never even had a clue till he got busted his grown adult kids didn't even know.

I kind of agree about the Facebook pics if this didn't occur they would be irrelevant except now that it has happened it can be used to say look this is how this kids is and we go yeah he robbed that store looks like a thug in these pics so it's all true he was not a good person . In reality though how many of you have pics of yourselves holding guns or flipping off the camera or holding stacks of cash I know I do and I'm no criminal by any stretch of the imagination. Point is if this was just a random guy with these pics on Facebook you wouldn't think anything of it but now that you know what has occured you would see these pics differently just because of that. I still can't wrap my mind around why this police department has no dash cams in any of the cruisers it makes no sense in this day and age if they had them this case would have closed day one. Doesn't mean these people wouldn't still act a fool though if you give idiots any reason to act up they take it.
Before you guys comment in no way am I defending this kid and I'm not defending the officer either I'm waiting to see how it all plays out so far though the witness story's have all just been proved to be false.

I'm shocked too every article I've read inn CNN about has been quick to point out that a white cop shot a black teen. Finnaly a story not trying to do any race baiting it's amazing. I really would like to know what would have happened if it was a black officer that shot the kid would have even been national news? For some reason I doubt it.
