  2. Just saw this, my prayers go out to you and your mom. My mom has been in remisission from breast cancer now for almost 5 yrs and Ill tell you honsetly you wouldn't know it. She is great! Works full time and still full of it. I instantly felt your pain when I read this but take comfort there are many survivors and your mom will be one as well. Just make her smile.
  3. parts wise I'm getting these from a local dealer who has always been helpful and they made these models for about two years and I was told this years change was small, all though I don't know what the change is. But like I said this guy has always been helpful. wattage will be two RF T20001
  4. yeah, very much so and that's with all terrain tires. Plus I'm not done, still need to do floors and ceiling. You can get to the point where you have no roadnoise.
  5. yeah, you can get in-line ones. Go to the local Radio Shack and tell them what you need. They should have it
  6. alrighty then, I will do everything in my power to get these subs while they are available. Thanx
  7. Well, guys tell me what you think. For the about the same money you can do Two Fi BTL 15's or two Treo SSX 15's..........What Would You DO???????
  8. your right, I forgot about that. Of course it was more subs but the same power I would be using roughly. I'm on the edge of the fence. If I can I may get them next weekend if he still has them. Gonna attempt my first wall. It's the only way to have the cargo room I need. I've said too much
  9. The hard psrt is getting the box in the trunk on those. I did one for a friend 10 yrs ago for a single 15". To get it in I took out the back seat and cut out the brace. then once everything was back in I went to local welder and had them weld it back in for me. You can fit a pretty good sized sealed box in there iirc
  10. here is a link to the site. http://www.treoonline.com/ssx.html The installer told me the change in model year is negligable
  11. What do you guys know about this sub? A local shop is offering me a great deal on two and I'm considering these instead of the Fi BTL. The Rms is 2500 and the installer said they can handle up to 5000 rms, so comparable power. ANyone know anything on soundquality and output. Any help would be appreciated. These are last year's model which is why they are so cheap, but he only has two and when they are gone they are gone. Then back to retail which is $900 each. Thanx alot guys
  12. As long as your sound isn't distorted you really should be okay. With me I've heard lots of systems that were quieter then mine but hurt my ears or caused ringing due to distortion. Especially with an overdriven amp or tweeter
  13. yeah, very nice. Just want new amps. Also, I have plans for a new sub set-up but before I do that I want to get my current set-up metered
  14. Front comps behind factory speaker grill A-pillar tweeter, the colors match but the flash made them look like different colors Rear door, missing one of the grills so you get a clean look the sound on this set-up is great. the only tuning I've had to do is reverse the phase on the left mid. These things are amazing especially considering the price $450 total and they are way underpowered. After adding new amps I will be trying CDT's Euro braxial line to replace my front door comps and move the front door comps to the rear doors.
  15. Since these last pics I have moved the mid and main tweeter to the door panels and added a CDT es-100 upstage tweeter to my a-pillars. I also have added new CDT comps to my rear doors and sealed the fron doors. Here are some pics These are the front doors with teh closed cell foam Cutting the tin and adding sound deadening to both sides Door sealed
  16. quite a bit louder. I'm already thinking of doing 10" FI Bl's instead of changing to two 15's. and slap in a RF T40001
  17. Just finished up How do you like? 45'd the port corner Triple Baffle Had to so the sub would fit above the port Installed
  18. IF it's a hatchback the second one is a good one. I had a setup like that in a rabbit. Now if you have more of a slope on your hatch doing th sub and port on the baffle at the exact angle as the hatch will give great results.
  19. I hope it osunds nice. This is one of the biggest ports I've done/seen for this small of a box. But the design is based exactly by the T/S paramters. To give you an idea this box after displacement is only about 2.5ft3 and the port is 60sq" and 42" long. Very sub specific.
  20. As far as I've read they may do 10" BTL but ONLY for compettion purposes. A Daily 10" BTL will never be produced is what I've read.
  21. naw, I'll be switching to 15's when I make the upgrade. This is just for the ten's I have now. And I will slowly be upgrading my electrical and amps before I upgrade
