all depends on the install, i've sat in toby's ride with 2 xxx6500s and 4 12" solo xs, he played a tone and it really wasn't loud at all to me, played some music... still nothing big.. but it metered insanely from what I was told. I've also sat in kevin neilheims geo metro with 4 12" L7s on a single 2500 for daily and it felt much much harder than the other. :hairtrick: hopefully mine will be loud with the solo xs, if not.. i'll go with more cone area and L7s.

i've been there to pick up a pup for my ex gf and went by it to meet snoopdan. A long drive for me lol. spent over 100 in gas driving to pick up two subs i paid to pay 800 for when I got there. I spent a lot of money that day . Anyhow.. least it's a starting point.

create the thread for it and we'll decide a place lol.. I am all up for it though my system don't be done .. i am trying to decide whether to buy new solo x 12s or just old ones and put in the new cones.

My celica is pretty loud, though i've always had setups where the backseats are laid down and the box lays on that, I have yet to do one and keep the seats up. i'll try it someday when i am out of groundpounding...lol

i'll think about it, i know they can take some power, it's sad when you have more power than space to put woofers for the power. bump to the top

guy said he'd ship them friday and he was going to clean them, I asked about tracking friday and he goes off on me. So i got a refund for his poor attitude just because I had asked for a tracking number. tired of dealing with grouches

WTB: killer 12" sub must be dual1 or dual4, as stated in title lol. looking for spl oriented subs, RE MT..etc etc. i have the 2 stetsoms for power..so I need subs that can take it.

Rs max rating is half that of the X, and the X is more of an SQ sub where as the R is a budget SQL/spl oriented woofer. Both are excellent for the price though. Also, bb may not carry the 15s IN stock, but if you work there, i'd just ask if they could order them for you personally, they should have no problem with getting some for you.

bro I don't have near the space or width of that eclipse, those subs don't require half the size box as one of my subs would ported if I done 18s.. those tc subs are fine in 4.5-5 cubes ported, i barely have 5.5 total with my seats up. Wouldn't work at all.. if i done 18s i'd need to let the seats down. besides the total width i can fit is 30" anyhow lol..

I have come across some rare pups in the big dog game of woofers.. t3 neo prototypes. 4" coil. I have been really trying to decide if I should keep my backseat or not and I thought it better to let you guys offers your opinions to me on what size i should go and why? i can keep my backseats if i go with a pair of 12s, or i can lose the backseats and do a pair of 15s or 18s without much effort. box will be crx style either way. Car is a 2002 celica gt hatchback. oh and pics of the subs: That's a lot of neo so guys.. should i make the jump and just go with 18s or.. try to keep it all hidden and run a pair of 12s, I really want to be one of the loudest here but i am afraid if I don't go big.. it'll be for nothing. oh yea.. and for power, I have 2 stetsom 7kds.. :01nocomment8so: i know about them not taking the power and such, but i'll figure that out later.. no need to comment on that. system will be for daily and the occasional bass race if any competing. So guys, what size... and why? go big or go home? I leave it to you as I can't decide myself the best way to go.
