here is my setup: HU: Pioneer 80PRS 2ch amp: Celestra FA2150x (the bottom one in the pics) comp: Hertz Hi-Energy XL (HSK165XL) mono: Celestra FA1.6k (the top amp in the pics) sub: Sundown Z v.3 15" D2 battery: XS Power D2400 got also 2 USB connections, and bass remote control (in the last pic) * the sub enclosure has a slanted back, was a little hard for me to design a slot port. if you guys want, i can upload the sketchup file of the design. (3.5 ft^3, tuned to 33.5hz) my NEXT upgrade - Replace the mono with a Rockford T2500-1bdCP (already got it) add another 2ch amp for the tweeters (Audison LR230) and changing from passive to active in the front stage. probably going to add another battery, need to get some cash first pics:

not sure if this will be any indication to you, but i had a z v.3 12" in a 3.5 cube box that did 142.4 at 2k watts, and 144.4 at 3.5k watts. good luck! right now i got 142.04 with 1.6k watts what was your tuning? because its damn funny! and btw, i only put them there for the vid tuned to 34 hz, peaked at 51. so i'll probably get around 144-145 db. cant wait to install the rockford!!

i was asking about a new basket also. if i get a zv4 basket and soft parts, the lows will be better? to get a new zv4 will be a little hard for me, because i am from israel, and i will need to import the sub. the shipping would be around 200$ and custom will take another 35% of the sub price. so we're talking about a 1000 bucks. the weight of the basket and the soft parts isnt that much. so the shipping will be much less. how much does a 15" basket and recone of zv4 would cost? and how much for the 18" ?

Hello everyone. I have a Z v3 15", and I am thinking about getting a Z v4 recone for better lows, is it possible? Is there anyone here who did it? If I'm staying with 15", will I need a new basket aswell? how much does it suppose to cost? +- .. Is it worth it ? or should I better sell my zv3 and buy a new zv4 instead? thanks for your advices! best regards from Israel

and of course after the amp price, i have to pay around 140$ for shipping and 33% taxes on amp price+shipping price. if i could only pay the same price that you guys pay. i'd probably had like 2 18's with some alts and batts oh yea that's me -

i dont have room for another battery, not for now at least, will probably get a newer car next year or so so i'll look for an hatchback with a bigger trunk and about modifying, i can also change the alt, no one will notice, its just that getting it inside the country will be the problem -

even if i will contact them, getting the alt in my country will be really hard. customs probably will not let it get in my country, because it is not an "original" part. in here any modification to your car is illegal. by the way, i used to hit 142 @ 50 hz before i bought the zv3 (with two hertz hx380d on the same electric and amp) -

Hello everyone! I have a Sundown Z v3 15" in a 3.5 ft^3 box with slot port tuned to 34 hz right now it is powered by Celestra FA1.6k (1650 rms) I have a standard alt (i think 90A) with front battery xs d2400 thinking about upgrading my amp, how will the saz-2500 work with that sub in that kind of box? I feel like that sub can give me a lot more. 1.6k rms is just not enough. I am thinking about saz-2500, found a used one in a really good price. my question is, will the saz-2500 will fulfill that sub's potential? I am having a little dilemma, 3.5k or 2.5k ? I cant upgrade my alt, and there is not enough place in my trunk for a rear batt. looking for an advice. thanks in advance.
