  1. Thanks for the reply Steve. What do you mean by "bumped"? I checked, and I have voltage coming from the remote when I turn on my vehicle.
  2. I had a question. I took out my old reserve battery (Limitless 60ah) and installed 3 of the LTO 6.0's. Now my amps won't turn on. I checked with my multimeter, there's power coming from power wires to the amps (3 crescendo amps). My remote turn on wire has power when turning on the vehicle/radio. The only thing I can think of is grounds? I didn't change any of my grounds from my last setup with the Limitless battery though. I did add two more runs of power wire from front battery to back, for a total of 3 runs now. Is it because I need more grounds? And if so can I just add couple more grounds from the LTO's to the back of my car (chassis area)? I checked my grounds that I have connected now to the chassis with a multimeter, and they're good grounds.
  3. So I've been noticing that when my rpms go down to 500 the alternator seems to not be turning on. I have the smallest pulley that mechman has on its 370amp alts. This wouldn't happen to be from one of the fuses im tapping off from, not putting out 12v to turn on the alt when the rpms are at 500? No matter if my rpms are at 500, aren't the fuses, such as ECU or cigarette lighter, suppose to still put out voltage? Is the alt still getting a turn on signal at low rpm, it's just that the alt isn't outputting any charge at a low idle?

  5. Sorry, posted this in other thread but didn't get any answers... So I just got my 370 amp mechman rebuilt. It's for my 08 chevy tahoe. I used to have the old style 2 pin, but have upgraded to the 4pin style with the one wire for 12v source. Initially installed it and had the 12v source hooked up to the cigarette lighter fuse under hood. I noticed at idle, my rpms would dip to 500rpms, and my battery would be sitting around 13.2-13.5. Once I accelerate, or rpms go over 600, then my voltage would jump back up to 14.5-14.7. I changed my belt to correct size. I talked to Tony from Mechman and have since ran the 12v source to another fuse, ECU fuse. I also forgot to ground my alternator to battery, so I did that also. Seems to be working good after one drive. I notice my idle rpms is now not dipping to 500, and it stays around 600-700 at idle. So question is, was my alternator not running at idle so it wasn't charging batteries? Can the alternator not being running at idle cause the rpms to dip low around 500? Not sure what was going on.

  7. Hey guys new to this forum. I just had my mechman 370 crap out on me a week ago. For now I disconnected all my sounds, running a stock alt while getting my mechman rebuilt. I have a 60ah Limitless from the original series from 6 years ago. I checked the resting voltage the day after my alt crapped out and it was resting at 12.14v. Initially when my alt crapped out, I had been driving so I know it was probably draining my batteries. I have my 60ah hooked up directly to my front battery, xs d3400. My xs is still good. Is my Limitless Lithium still good? I know I had this battery for 6 years, but I've never had it charge on a lithium charger before. Will I be able to just slow charge it with the 8amp charger to get it back up? And since it's hooked up to my AGM upfront, can you throw the lithium charger on it while it's hooked up to the agm? Do I need to seperate them when charging? Vice versa, when I want to use my AGM charger on my front battery, can I charge it while it's hooked up to my lithium in the back? Thanks guys in advance!
