well i was the driver of the other car.. and i have to agree 100% with civichatch.. this was one of the worst nights of my life.

probably tomorrow i will be able to post some vids of my new setup.

i don't have them bolted down right now but i will do that asap. the box and subs are heavy enough to stay in one place but i will bolt it down to be safe.

if it was connected to the power antenna, what colour would the wire be? Right now i have it connected to a blue one but there is another blue wire that is connected to yet another blue wire. so in total i have, for some wacky reason that i have no idea about, 4 blue wires. i'm sure you guys know what the problem is: my amp and sub power up when the mode is on radio, but as soon as i turn the mode to cd the amp shuts off. just to let you guys know.

I don't know a whole lot about stereo equipment and stuff like that but all i know is that the blue remote wire it connected to another blue wire from the harness. I will definitly check if it's hooked up to the power antenna though. Thanks a lot.

ya pretty much. My amp powers up when i have it on radio.. then i change to cd and the amp powers off.

I got a new deck and my amp and sub only power with the radio, but not with a CD. I don't know what this is so I'm wondering it someone can help me. This is the deck.

ya.. but i can't go too expensive. I'm only 16 lol and i still have to pay for insurance for the car and i think a newer import would be really expensive to pay insurance for.
