its not insane compaired to some of the ones on here, but it gets loud and it hurts and you can hear it from about 1/2 a mile turned up proud of that one. built the box myself, was originally made for one 13.5 W7 but that fell through. its a double shot design similar to the T-line in the fact that it is an infinite port design. two 12" Kicker L5's, Hifonics BXI 1606 amp, Power Acoustiks 1.2 farad cap, factory infinity amp (workin to change that lol) i also got a free 6 channel line output device, very small plan on using it for my speaker amp, but it just showed up at my house with my moms name on it and everything, but we were never charged for it and never ordered it so it was weird. ill post pics of it soon. the beast in my trunk: the power: Represent! and last but not least...photo op:

cool, thanks guys. i have a feeling im going to have to have someone install it for me. its not that i dont think i can do it (though it would take me forever) i just dont know if i have the time for something of that magnitude right now lol, it would probably take me a couple of days. i think ima just stick to boxes and soon some fiberglass (gotta fix stuff in the jeep so why not make it haha) for now since school is comin up. but thanks for the help maybe one of these days ill do a dry run if i have time and try and locate all of the wires. btw what would a good alarm installed cost? remote start or not, my budget isnt too deep like in the $300 range tops

i am interested in purchasing an alarm preferably the viper 5900 and i was wondering how hard it was to install it yourself? i would prefer to do it myself, but I have never worked with electrical on my car before. i drive a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee auto and want to see if it is even worth trying or whether I should have it installed. thanks

well evertyhing they said was fine, but that info does not help you find the surface area of the port. to find the surface area you use 2 x PI x r x length that will give you the surface area inside the aero port

would a viper be better than a clifford alarm? i have a 98 jeep grand cherokee and ive been broken into recently and looking for an alarm as well

my friend is selling his two 12" fosgate punch stage 2's loaded in a box (dunno if its the fosgate box or the one i built for him). very good condition and never abused. he is looking to sell the setup for $200 sacramento buyers are preferred. pm me if interested.

you could external port thfought the rear deck if you have the room also, that would work with the \_/ design

for one thing it wont fit easily.... 12" subs are actually more like 12.5" in total diameter .... the only way would be to make them in this shape \_/ with one sub on each wall. i did that for one 15 and two 12s and there wasnt enough airspace fer the subs anyways and that was a sealed box let alone a ported one .... IMO you should drop one sub and work with two if your gonna port, otherwise your gonna need to go with a sealed enclosure

right now i have 2 kicker L5's and am only running 820max watt amp so not even enough rms to push one of these beasts but i am looking for a 1600rms 1 ohm stable amp that i can also use when i upgrade to my final system, 2 fi 10" Ssd's. I am looking at the hifonics 1606 amp but i wanted to see if i could maybe buy an amp off someone upgrading to a better system or even down grading. being a college student (and parents not giving me money) i do not have loads of extra money so i was hoping to find someting for like $200 + shipping or if you live in Sacramento, CA or around Chico, CA where i could pick it up that would be cool otherwise im not sure how id pay lol . anyways let me know if anyone has something i can consider.
