  1. That car is straight up getto. LOL
  2. (Fabrication)Yep I guess thats why we do car audio ya need to beable to fabricate or find a new hobby.LOL
  3. It is adjustable up to 8 volts I only need 6 volts. The sensitivity controls are under the cover. Rite now I've fot 1 volt on an amp that can handle 6 volts RMS.
  4. I think it was a good question. I think people should be ranked for their nowledge and ability in the car audio and electronics world. But its not my forum and I don't make the rules. I was just shocked when it said advanced member and I hadn't contriputed to anything helpful to others.
  5. Come on guys, there are enough people online right now that theres gotta be someone that can help me.
  6. I just got a Phoenix Gold TLD22 line driver. They recommend mounting it as close to the head unit as possibble. In my truck that might not be feasable. Whats the conciquences of mounting it at the amp I want to use it with? The length of the RCAs are 9 feet to the amp I want to use it with. Also there is no way to mount this thing unless I pull out the circuit board and drill holes in the bottom of the casing.(No mounting feet)WEIRD.LOL opinions please And I think it might be to heavy for velcro. unless I can mount it just rite.
  7. Go to www.termpro.com on the left side you should see the store. Get the official DB drag competition disc. 20 to 80 hertz in 30 second incriments. http://www.termpro.com/storefront/index.asp?Page=13 here you go
  8. I would like some info on this question too. I threw a box together one day that wanted a 4 inch diameter port,so I picked a corner of the box and did a square port somewhere around 3.75x3.75x the length and it pounded but I had port niose bigger than shit. So there is something I'm not getting with a square port unless you can't use one of the corners for 2 of the walls of the port.
  9. NO,NO,NO I just wanted to how this worked becuase I figured some one new here might look at that to determine the quality of the information they would be recieving from another member. Thats all
  10. Come on guys I started acouple of threads tonight. Why are my threads starting sh!t. Were grownups rite. If you got to complain about somebody when I start a thread, can't you just PM them? Plus if ya can't stand within 3 feet of a person and talk shit, ya shouldn't be talkin shit in the first place......
  11. I only have 31 post and it says I'm an advanced member already. How does this rating system work? Shouldn't I put out some really quality information to help others before I can be considered an advanced member. Just curious?
  12. Do you want SQ or BOOM BOOM? I have run L7 10s for 7 years and with exception of the 2008 L7(witch I haven't used) I would push you towards the 15 inch CVX for a mix of SQ and SPL. From Kicker Tech Support: The 2006 L7 and CVX usesthe same motor structure. Whats the difference: Use a grams to ounces Digi scale and weigh the twoCVXcone is lighter so it supposedly has a better response(SQ) with the same motor structure than the 2006 L7. My opinion.
  13. Thanks for gettin back to me Steve. I live Litterly in the middle of no where, is there anyplace on the internet you can recommend to order from, for the CA glue? Thanks
  14. I tried to PM him I'm pretty sure it actually went though but I didn't think it would, thats why I started a thread. I figured it would take acouple of days before I got an answer from him.(I know he is doesn't have alot of time) But we just got our wires crossed on a forum so I don't know if he will write me back.
  15. Just trying to catch Meade while he might be online.
  16. Steve I have 2 RF 1501BDs unmodded, at the moment I can only use one at a time. Anyhow I run mine with sealed boxes at 2ohm. One day I decided to build a ported box to test out some SPL subs and my only options were 1 ohm and 4 ohm so I ran the 1501BD at 1 ohm with the ported box and becuase of the impedence rise of the box I never went into protect but I sure notice how much more current it was pulling and how much more power it seemed like it was putting out. Well I can't do any quailty wattage test becuase my system is pulling current to fast for me to use a DMM and an amp clamp to get real figures(except at 11 volts maybe) LOL. So when you were running your modded 1501BDs at 1 ohm nominal what kind of power were you seeing? P.S. I can't afford to buy one at the moment but I wanted to know if you still had any modded 1501BDs left? I want to run 3 10s at 1.33 ohms instead of 2 and I don't want to mod the 2 I have. ( I just really love that amp) I am getting ready to recone a set of RF HX2 10s can you recommend a glue for me to use and were to get it from? Thanks for your time.
  17. I've got these things on there way to me. How do I shut down or lock this thread? And if the seller agrees I guess this thread might as well be deleted.
  18. I'm in the very north eastern tip of Tennessse. Its called Trade, TN 37691. Were are you I have 3 states I can be in TN,NC,and Virginia. I was kinda hopping to stay in the $70 to $100 range shipped? Thanks for taking the time to get the pics for me.
  19. Ya if you gould get me some pics I would appreciate it. I'm very interested. So both work they are just reading different. If I read it rite you have a broken coil or a wire unhooked. Do you use Pay-Pal? My Email [email protected] Thanks and I'm going to bed.
