  1. well i thought that too but when we hook my friends RCAs from his HU into the amp in my car it works perfectly fine
  2. just chillin, rainy day

  3. dude...if thats whats wrong im gonna kick myself in the forehead. vids promised lol but i had my bud over the other day just checkin stuff out and when we turn it up the amp slowly goes into protect when the beat hits both power and protect lights are on, but only after the beat hits
  4. well theres a ground from the chassis to the harness but thats it
  5. oh no i did i thought you were saying to check the remote for grounding issues?
  6. i thought too, havent had a chance to check it yet what would i be looking for if it is the remote wire? ?
  7. yepp pretty much everything it could be other than the harness
  8. haha maybe berserk wasnt the best work, and its more of the signal than the amp when i turn it to 0 the subs pop? or hit and when i turn it up from 0 it does it and when i turn it up more the signal is all jumbled like hittin out of nowhere in the middle of a tone tried RCAs, had my buddy open the HU to take a look at the RCA jacks checked the amp. only thing i can think of is the harness
  9. its gotta be in the harness cause we replaced the radio and the new one had the same problem thing is.. it worked fine for about 5 minutes when we put the alpine back in but when its on the protect light slowly comes on when it hits. doesnt happen when we run the Rcas from his car to my amp though
  10. well when we replaced the RCAs i just ran em straigh back over the seats to test it real quick and didnt fix anything. and what are you saying jizazz12?
  11. ok guys posted a while back about the signal to my amp goin berserk when i turn the volume all the way down and back up to 1 it also does it when i turn the volume up checked everything hooked amp to another friends HU works fine replaced RCA cables even changed HU beginning to think its something in my wiring harness signal to components is perfectly fine only the sub signal gets jumbled up any ideas? were sittin here now going through every possible reason thought maybe the remote wire is getting grounded? maybe the HU ground isnt good? please respond quick got a show tomorrow thanks in advance guys
  12. thats one thing that we are gonna do and charge a little less than normal starting out especially since the local shop here Dreamworks Motorsports was gonna charge one of our current customers a basic custom ported box-$600 they knock so many people over the head with prices we figure if we do it for alot cheaper that will help with word of mouth advertising
