  1. The awesome guys at Colorado Car Audio just finished a sweet Dodge Ram 3500 Pro Master Van build with full sound and heat insulation along with a stereo upgrade and the work is very nice!!! They applied Spectrum and Damplifier Pro CLD to all of the metal to kill vibration noise and help with heat transfer through the metal. They used Luxury Liner Pro MLV+CCF next to block out unwanted airborne noise and thermally insulate the walls. And they used Mega Zorbe Hydrophobic Melamine Foam to absorb sound and thermally insulate the roof of this huge van!!! When the proper layers are applied to the correct locations, a huge difference in noise level reduction can be achieved. Setting the stage for a nice and clean platform for your stereo to perform in a much more enjoyable environment....especially with these tin can sprinter vans....treating them makes a HUGE difference in noise comfort levels. Thank you guys for the awesome work and pictures. Thank you for insisting on high-quality Second Skin products for all of your builds. #TeamSecondSkin #SecondSkinUSA #SecondSkinAudio #SecondSkinForTheWin Spectrum Liquid Sound Deadening Luxury Liner Pro Mass Loaded Vinyl with Closed Cell Foam infused Mega Zorbe Standard Hydrophbic Melamine Foam Damplifier Pro New Kenwood Touch Screen Head Unit Upgraded Stereo System
  2. browser keeps crashing so this will be done in sections. Let me start with saying this build was done in the sub 20 temperatures with occasional snow showers. I only had 3 days to complete build due to long work hours so it was kinda rushed! I came here looking for ideas on a new build to upgrade from my original 4 kicker comp cvr's and this is the results! 160 Ft" of 2/0 EB-Flex welding cable 2 XS D3100's Sky High fuse blocks Sky High 200 amp fuses Sky High 1/0 oversided copper lugs Sky High shrink tube 1 set of aluminum battery blocks
  3. Ok so here's the deal, we just finished building my friends new sub box for his Kickers (meh) and we were going to paint it with bed liner or appliance paint but he got an idea to use Duck tape around the box then spraying or painting a clear coat on to protect the tape.... The idea is to have it look like it's wrapped in tape... Im a little hesitant to do this because I don't want to rebuild his box so do you think it's possible? If so, whats the best way to coat the Duck tape so that it won't peel?

  5. My mom is considering plasti-dipping her stock rims on her dodge avenger in the flat purple out of the spray can. I'm a photoshop noob and was wondering if somebody could just change the color of the rims for me. Thanks in advance for any help! Google picture because her car is covered in snow, looks the same though.
  6. For Sale: 275a Singer Alternator It was installed in a 2005 Dodge Stratus. Was in there for around a year with no problems. I had two Sundown X 12s on a Powerbass 3k. Never had any issues with voltage. Was originally $489, I would like to get $300 for it. I do not know if the warranty is transferable, but I know SInger honors his work, so I am sure that whoever buys it can just shoot him an email and find out. He did send me a list of what other vehicles the alternator can be installed on. The alternator is plug and play with these cars and engines only. It also comes with the belt that I bought for it. 2005 Dodge Stratus R/T Coupe 2-Door 2.7L 2700CC 167Cu. In. V6 GAS DOHC Naturally Aspirated 2005 Dodge Stratus SXT Coupe 2-Door 2.7L 2700CC 167Cu. In. 10. I've been shopping for new cars and one of my local used car lots has a 2013 Dodge Charger, so I thought I would check it out. On their website it's listed as an R/T and has R/T badges on it.....but it has the SRT wheels, the SRT big oval grill, it has SRT stitched into the front seats, and the SRT8 badge on the dashboard. The listing ad says its a 5.7L, but the picture shows the 392 under the hood. Anyone ever see a Dodge Charger (or other car) mislabeled like this? I've requested the VIN number from him so I can try to look it up. If its a real deal SRT8....its 2013 with 38k miles for only $24k. Normally I would say the miles are high for 2013....but its a 392 !!! Stay tuned....
  11. Just a quick video of White Clouds playing on the Sp4 12's Completely forgot to turn my phone sideways to make the video but owell, enjoy anyway!
  12. So after looking for more than a year my wife has finally settled on a car she can live with. The 2018 Charger. It's me that wants the Hemi in it. So the Hemi comes in the R/T package and above. I think we are looking at either the R/T or the Daytona because the Daytona has the stuff that interests her. Such as good scoop, stripe, aesthetic stuff. Anways I know the 5.7 is a proven good motor but was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts or comments on the Chargers. In fixing to start looking at reviews and whatnot but we will probably be going to the lot this weekend to look and test drive. Thanks in advance.

  15. I change things a lot. I call it a hobby more than a project with a goal. I will try to find some old pics to post first to show some of how things have come along before posting the current system.
  16. Hey guys, this is my first post here, and everyone seems to be helpful here and so i thought before i build everything i should ask some people who may know more than me, if everything seems correct. I have a regular cab Dodge Dakota in which i am going to put in a sundown sa-8, i took measurements, and this box will fit behind my center console and behind the seats, It's just when designing i read how both ports must be the same length as written in the program, and as i believe this, i just want to make sure everything seems like it'll work before going further into this project. Sundown recommends 0.5-0.75 cu ft box tuned to 35hz, and i believe this should do. The port on the left side is the same dimensions as the one most visable. Thanks for your input! Sorry that the picture is a little small.
  17. So need a little help from those who know a bit more about resistors and dummy loads. I have a 2013 Dodge Charger and since day one I have always had an issue with getting LOC's to work for me. I have used PAC, Xscorpion, No Name, Crappy Name and now using the AudioControl LC6i. Up until now I could not figure out the issue but after going through everything with a fine tooth comb and talking to a few guys who own a car similar to mine I have realized the Radio needs to see a load from 4 speakers to send a signal. I have never seen this before (any newer car I have done has kept stock mids/highs and only wanted to add bass). I tested it by unplugging my speakers 2 by 2 and sure enough the minute I unplugged 4 of 6 speakers the other 2 stopped working. So now I am at the point where I need to figure out a way to trick the radio into seeing a load. I figure a dummy load using resistors would be the perfect remedy. I however am not sure what resistors I need to use to make this happen. In the interim I have 4 small mids in a sealed pod hidden in my trunk giving me the load I need. I need to change this sooner than later as I am not a big fan of it at all. There is no option for swapping HU's so please do not mention it, I am keeping the stock radio.
