MECHMAN
Our most popular unit is our 270 amp Extreme Service unit. 165 amps by 700 rpm, full output by 1700 rpm, $449. It comes standard with our AVBM module as well, so you can set the charging voltage to whatever you want without having to buy anything else. We also have a couple 2010 model 200 amp units for your truck on closeout for $299. Quote 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]

miller1971
How high can you set the voltage without damaging stock components such as ECM? Quote I was building systems when Orion amps were good.
MECHMAN
That would be based on the specific vehicle. I personally have run our Chevy Silverado charging at 16.8v w/ 14v batteries with no problems at all. The Jeep TJ charges at 15.8v on 14v batteries due to the choice of amplifiers, they don't like to be over 16v. The Mustang has charged at 16.5v as has the S-10. This is what we have done, it's up to you to be sure you don't exceed the limits of your electronics.
