dugee81 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Share Posted February 10, 2011 I don't think you should compare to a friends woofers to base your decision. You could go with a couple sdc 15's or a HDC 15. Why not an 18? Just get the proper electrical to back it and make a sturdy box, with enough cu ft per woofer, the correct amount of port area volume, and an amp to power to power them effectively. You'll be impressed, they are good product.
