Hostility Posted February 12, 2011 Report Share Posted February 12, 2011 I finished my box, with 2 6" aero ports, internal tuned to 35hz, I want to try 30hz, but cant extend them more into the box, so i want to try adding some externally, but dont know how to figure out how much i need to add. fecupe2001 Posted February 14, 2011 Report Share Posted February 14, 2011 Since the internal space would remain the same, then you need to add 8" more of port lenght to get a 30 hz tuning, try with some pvc tubes first and if you think is to low, you cut the port lenght until you are satisfied hehe, but yes, 24.5" long with 7-8" outside the box should do the job!
