wiring a dvc 4 ohm sub to 8 ohms

i was reading around and it said that the 4 terminals on each side is like a "Y" connection so u dont have 2 put 2 wires into the same terminal u can just use the one next to it and itd do the same thing.

Could be wrong but there is dual terminals on each side.

its not a quad coil. They did that so you could have wiring options. the +-+- on side is the one voice coil. the same on the other side. you want to make it easier cover up one of the + and one of the - on each side. There you go. You made it way harder than it needed to be

ok so on here the pair on the left is the same as 1 positive because they just put 2 there so you wouldnt need to put 2 wires in 1 terminal. same goes for everything else on it too so (++)(--) is 1 side and (++) (--) is the otherside. does that sound right?
