Well i have two subs and two amps, would and should i strap them or keep them seperate? The subs share the same space in the enclosure just for a little info. From what i read i almost think i want to not strap the amps. Any opinions? First is cuz i was planning on strapping the amps, i thought it was MORE efficient but i guess i was wrong. And also my situation isnt the same as what i was reading about sooooo im curious what others would do. toadking90 Posted February 17, 2011 Report Posted February 17, 2011 everything i can understand is that if you have a big sub thats like duel or quad 1ohm coils that's you would just hook one up to a big amp which to me would make it more hard hitting but if you dont have them tuned EXACTLY THE SAME it will be bad. so for people like me and you whom dont have the big boy toys. should just strap and call it a day i would say. better safe than sorry. but if you just have money to blow go for it i would say. i would but my budget doesn't allow for "play" i am no pro by any means. learning as i go but i have asked about a similar thing before.

I just read that if one goes when they are strapped they both go. Thats what kinda made me weary but what you said makes perfect sense to me too.
