Cashdollar2009
You're actually using three common port walls (top, bottom, rear) therefore your net volume should increase a bit dropping your tuning and raising your port area. 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier Two 12" DC Audio XL M2'sCrescendo Audio BC5500d Current Scores: 150+ out the Trunk On 6/30/2011 at 1:11 AM, 'Ray' said: Acoustical energy is free. By typing in two common port walls, it is assuming that the back port wall is not actually the back of the box, but another piece of mdf, which registers as taking up more box volume. Also, those 45's will take up a little volume as well. Only way to know how much would be to find the area of the triangular prism that it makes. 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier Two 12" DC Audio XL M2'sCrescendo Audio BC5500d Current Scores: 150+ out the Trunk On 6/30/2011 at 1:11 AM, 'Ray' said: Acoustical energy is free. Carroot1
well either way if it is 3 common wall the tuning, net cubes, and port area are barely effected by it. also not to worried about the 45s if anything it will help the airflow
Cashdollar2009
Well it is assuming that you have another piece of 14.5x13 piece of mdf inside that really isn't. I just wanted to point that out for you so you noticed. Same with the 45's. So your numbers aren@t 100% spot on as to what they really are with that screenshot. Again, just wanted you to know. Aside from those slight number errors, I like it. Get to building! 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier Two 12" DC Audio XL M2'sCrescendo Audio BC5500d Current Scores: 150+ out the Trunk On 6/30/2011 at 1:11 AM, 'Ray' said: Acoustical energy is free.
