Wiring first set of components, need a little help

Recommended Posts

Im going to tell you how i have it wire and what im trying to do and let me know if its right or not.

I have a 4 channel amp, 100w @ 4 ohms and 160w @ 2 ohms, and i want to run the tweets passive at two ohms on two channels and the mids active at two ohms on thw other two channels. So i have taken the two front mids(which are 4 ohm speakers) and ran them parrallel to channel 1 for so its 2 ohm load and they will see roughly 80 rms a piece. I did the same for the rear two speakers on channel 2.

Now my confusion comes from running the tweets through the crossover. On the crossover it has inputs and out puts for the tweeter. I combined(paralled) the two front inputs (the power from the amp to input on tweet) on channel 3 and did the same for the rear two on channel 4.. Does that sound right? The amp should see two ohms on each channel for those correct? This is the first set of components ive ever owned and wired up so i just want to make sure im doin it right
