DodgerCannon
Yea its a high pitched noise.... gonna tape up the dust cap and see if it does it anymore. What would cause a dust cap to become loose? I do give the subs a good pounding, got them on two SD saz1500ds....

iKidwell
Lol, hum yea, nothing like the fresh smell of coils in the morning. if you're smelling voice coil with 1.5k to a level 5 you're just clipping it all to hell. DeadSnow
How did you tune your amp? And how is it wired?
Cashdollar2009
I had this issue to at low volumes... When I reconed some of the glue on my dustcap was too far away from the edge and it didn't glue the whole way around. Eventually the dustcap just came completely off when I was playing. Glued it back on completely once I realized I had missed parts before. Never had that issue again. Quote On 6/30/2011 at 1:11 AM, 'Ray' said: Acoustical energy is free. Electrical energy is not. No I have 4 1500ds 2 on each. The noise got worse today while it was on loud... the sub was moving oddly too.
