Big_Mike
What would make my 04 Tahoe vibrate while I'm braking. At 45+ mph when I hit the brakes my truck feels like it's vibrating and the steering wheels vibrates also. My friend said it feels like your rotors are warping because of the heat. But idk.. Guest
cant warping happen when you press too hard on the brakes while theyre still cold? too much heat at one time
JaM Customs aka mprete
it happens for many reasons all having to do with heat, the thickness of the rotors, and your driving style Quote 2001 dodge ram 2500 quad cab 5.9L V8 my build logs... dodge build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/94914-mpretes-2001-dodge-ram-2500-quad-cab-build-log/ trik build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/94447-trik-build/page__p__1298547__hl__trik__fromsearch__1entry1298547 box building thread- very cool designs (PICS!!!) http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/95713-2d-or-3d-box-pics/page__gopid__1318152entry1318152 i am a mechanic, pm me if you have questions or anything. Big_Mike
it happens for many reasons all having to do with heat, the thickness of the rotors, and your driving style Well I just bought this truck almost a year ago. Haven't changed the brakes yet. Going to look for some decent rotors.. Any suggestions on rotors and brakes?

I've put 30k on my back brakes and 10k on my fronts and no warping (and I drive aggressively.) Quote Too many projects, too little time...

I just ordered rear struts and mounts for my car for $160ish there. IIRC both times my brakes were like $60 shipped. Quote Too many projects, too little time...
