To support the weight you may need to attach the mdf panel to the door itself and not the plastic panel as I have. I will be watching this one!! I was thinking both? The plastic, just as you did, plus a few "extra" support bolts What about your rear doors? I am just gonna put one speaker in each rear door, and they will run off the hu. Im not too worried about them, b/c the wall will be back there eventually. And you reading through my log, As for my plans, I'm really still not sure. I'd love to do 4 18's, but honestly it will be tough. But it can be done, I was thinking a fourth order wall at the b-pillar, with subs on top and bottom. But actually, I believe it could be done side to side. Also, I may just do 2-18's for now, and add more later. I have also thought about 4 - 15's and 8-12's. I'm just not sure what to do, so many choices! But some new news for the PT is that I did order a DC 5.0K, so i got some power on deck. And I talked to Chris at MLA today, and I'm getting ready to send him the money now for an adjustable voltage boost module. Along with front and rear brakes, and a new power steering rack. It should ride pretty good after that! But I wanted to take care of the car's needs before I start the new build. I have also decided to start my doors this weekend. I have put it off for way too long, and it's something I really want finished before I start the wall. Oh yeah, did I mention I ordered a new DC 5K? So now I just need to buy: 3- XS d3100's 150ft+ cable Mechman alt 18" Subs Birch plywood terminals bus bars vinyl carpet And probably a lot more that I'm forgetting! But that $3,500.00 worth of stuff is my next goal... And that is PLENTY!
