adam6604
hey guys im literally about to order a new amp. im looking to power 2 15" RE SX subs. so 1000rms each, they are dual 2/4 ohm? but anyways. im looking at either a Hifonics BRZ 2400.1 at 344$ it is CEA compliant.. the Power Acoustic BAMF 4000/1D at 241$ with a wiring kit.. the US AMP merlin 2000.. at 414$ its easily the most expensive.. i would want an audioque 2200 but it isn't ready to be bought untill april and im buying an amp like now lol this will be all purchased through Audiosavings.com .. never used the site before but im told its good. so ANY help would be great! the more i can save i will use towards a mids and high amp, and new components in the front, so cheaper is better! EDIT: They are unfortunatly dual 2 ohm subs. not 4 Edited March 15, 2011 by adam6604 Quote Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi. dwright27
I'd go with the Merlin over those. It's better quality then both the other ones. RickyFriery97
Get dual 4 ohm so you can get a 1 ohm load Out of those amps if it was me I would wait for the AQ 2200D but that's because I only have experience with the AQ Edited March 15, 2011 by RickyFriery97 Quote 2014 Chevy Silverado Crewcab 1994 Chevy Full Size blazer
Guest
what do you mean they are dual 2/4? you mean you can choose between a dual 2 and dual 4? if so, get the dual 4's. edit: didnt see the little price difference between the hifonics and US, i read it as 474...lol. but i would absolutely get that US amps. but if you can wait a little bit, then i would go with that audioque.
