SasquatchREG32 Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 i'm planning to run a 2000+ watt set up and i'm wondering how big of an alternator do i need? i have an Optima yellow top under the hood right now and i plan on getting an extra battery soon. big 3 is done, and 1/0 wires all around. and i was wondering if it's cheaper and/or better to rebuild my current alt bigger or to just buy a new HO alt??
